Books are nominated by members of the community begining on the first of each month, and then voted upon midway through the month. Polls close at the end of the month. Once a book has been chosen there will be a month before reading of that book begins, which should (hopefully) give everyone enough time to find it.
The only requirement for nominations is that the book must be of the horror genre; it can be young adult fiction, an adult novel, a graphic novel, or whatever you like so long as it is horror. If you aren't sure whether or not your chosen book qualifies, then ask the community.
When nominating a book, please try to use the following format.
Title:
Author:
Publisher:
Published:
Brief Plot Synopsis:
Why Chose This Book:
Anything Else You Think We Should Know About It:
Of the above list, the only two that are absolutely required are the Title and Author. A plot synopsis is also important, and while not required, is fairly crucial to getting votes for your nomination.

1. Be polite.
Every once in awhile, opinions are going to clash, and that is expected whenever any group of people are expressing their ideas in the same place at the same time. Therefore, general debates are welcome, but keep the personal insults to yourself.
2. Use proper English.
We're not grammar gods, perfect typists, or spelling bee champions... But please, spare us "t3h l337 sp34k" (unless it's used very moderately in jest).
3. No advertising of anything that is not horror related
4. Try to keep posts on topic
This is probably the least enforced rule, simply because, as
