devilchick - I know I don't have your username right, but thank you SO MUCH for the Peter Pan DVD. My son loves it:)

We had a horrible Christmas with all of us being sick and my hubby's grandma passing away on Monday after a stroke on Christmas Eve.

Thank you for the movie, the postcard, and the wonderfully fun fairy book. The kids are watching Labyrinth as I type this (which is great for me, because I am sick, and trying to doze on the couch), and my daughter is begging to do some of the craft projects in the book already.
What a wonderful holiday surprise!
(And perfect pick on the movie. Several of the others I wanted are on pay-per-view this week, so I can order them and tape them to have. It worked out great!!!)

I have been going crazy looking for the list of people who was kind enough to send me something that didn't comment on my wishlist. But I lost the list. But I know as gifts came I did thank each and every one of you either at my wish list or at your journals.

So to everyone in this community who was kind enough to grant one of my wishes and make my holidays memorable.

I wanted to thank everyone who fulfilled some of my wishes this holiday season. In addition to the wonderful stories left in the comments (see link following the post), I also got some wonderful cards, one from April Star who included some stamps and a quick note about how excited she was about giving her mom a sewing machine for Christmas. Julie also sent a snowman card and told me that her favorite gift she was giving this year was the "Where is Osama" book, in the style of "Where's Waldo." (She included her LJ alias, but I couldn't make it out.) ridikuluss sent me a super-cute Pooh card as well. So thank you to April, Julie and Robin for their warm wishes. I do hope you all had a wonderful season as well. (Apologies to Robin, as I meant to reciprocate, but ended up more frazzled than anticipated this year. Maybe I will send a random postcard in 2008!) All three cards are displayed on my Holiday Door of Cards, along with the cards I got from coworkers, family, friends, and landlord. Heh. I like to think that they help insulate my door in addition to making it look totally festive.

I also wanted to mention a HUGE thanks to tarzanic for the paid LJ account. That was really freakin' cool too.
