| Hello and welcome to hockey_icontest. This is an icon contest community for anything and everything hockey. Every week and new contest will be posted with a different theme all relating to hockey. |
#1 Challenges will be posted on Mondays and will be closed on Fridays. The voting will also be posted on Fridays and will close on Sunday. And the whole cycle will start again. The winners of the challenge will be posted the following week while the next challenge is taking place. #2 There can be up to 3 icons submitted for each challenge unless otherwise stated. Each icon must meet LJ's requirements of 100x100 pixels and be under 40KB. #3 Your icons must stay anonymous. Please try to not use the icons you are submitting before the voting is closed. This helps prevent votes based on popularity and friendship. #4 Don't vote for yourself (this includes different accounts) or ask your friends to vote for you. #5 Please don't steal icons from other websites and claim them as your own. If you would like to use an icon you see posted, ask the maker of the icons and give proper credit. #6 The makers of the icons will be awarded with a banner in the category in which he or she has won. The categories are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Mod's Choice and Best Colouring/Best Cropping. #7 Be respectful. Do not bash the icons, makers of the icons or the choices for Mod's Choice. |
