I feel sad inside that this community has died a little.

In the spirit of THE FINAL BOOK coming out, I've started writing...something.  I think Minerva is going to come into it somewhere, but I'm not even sure where it is going.  Anyone willing to critique for me?

In hopes of generating discussion again, I'm offering up a new topic of discussion, something that kinds of stems from a discussion saphy and I had. ^^

As I don't want to post every day on here as well as my normal journal, just thought I'd tell everyone that my 'Twelve Days of Christmas Fanfic Fest' (as I have decided to call it :-P) has begun, and you can find the first drabble on my journal. ^^ Honestly, I wasn't too pleased with the first one, but I have some good ideas for other days. ^^

In honor of:

a) Having all my college applications in (Now all that's left are the scholarship applications. @_@)
b) GoF coming out to theaters
c) Rent coming out to theaters

and of course:

d) Christmas/whatever winter holiday you choose!

Starting December 10th, I will be doing a '12 Days of Fanfic' for all my readers. ^^ 12 ficlets, running from the 10th to the 22nd, one per day, including one Harry/Ginny fic, two Ron/Hermione fics, one Remus fic, one Minerva fic, and seven Remus/Minerva fics.

Because I'm also a big Rent-head, the themes of this fics will be based on lyrics from Rent.

Although I'm not revealing what ficlet goes with what, I'll give you the lyrics and you can ponder what the fic will be about.

So, this challenge ended up being confusing to judge, but I think I've found a solution.

Technically, I was the only one to make the deadline, as the contest was for October.

However, shadowycat posted her fic today (Nov. 1st) which was past the deadline but surpassed my word count.

Since both Mel and I offered fics for the winner, I'm suggesting that Mel writes a fic for me, and I'll write a fic for shadowycat.

Sound fair to everyone?

Even if not, post a response with what kind of fic you want, shadowycat. You can be as specific or as vague as you want. ^^
