The purpose of this community is to share recommendations of stories in the Highlander universe, including Highlander: The Series, Highlander: The Raven, and the Highlander movies.
Recs will be made on a monthly basis by volunteers (signup sheet is here) according to a few simple guidelines (here). In addition, recs may be made by others at any time, by following the same format and guidelines (again, here).
Each month, a theme will be announced; during the last week of the month, anyone may post a rec for a story that fits the theme (guidelines for posting are here). Anyone may suggest themes here. Theme recs will be archived in Memories. Note: If you are the monthly reccer, don't worry about making your regular recs fit the theme. The themed recs are separate from the regular monthly recs. Designated reccers should feel welcome to also post themed recs according to that month's theme during the last week of the month, but it is not required. :)
Recs will be tagged for characters and a few other basic categories. Tags are listed in the sidebar on the front page of the comm.
All posts will be moderated for format and relevance to the comm.
This community is open to recs for new stories and old, for all categories and ratings. Please be aware that slash and subjects of an adult nature will be discussed in reccers' posts as well as in the stories recommended. We're adults, you're adults, let's play that way. ;) And let's have fun!
