AboutThe story of hjãrp-subs!
I'll write it here in case anyones interested. ^__^
It all started a long time ago when me and my friend started going to this local anime/manga club. We were always together then and at this club peoples names and such is not really important, we all enjoy talking to each other without caring about those trivial things. :P
Anyway, since the two of us come from a small village called Hjärup a certain person started calling us Hjäruparna (basically the Hjärupers if you try to make English sense out of it) but it was misheard as hjärparna. Järpar in Swedish is a kind of long meatball basically and it sounds the same as hjärpar så our nick-name was born. ^__^ At the aforementioned manga and anime club we ran in to Fluff who got us hooked on Johnny's (and we're eternally grateful) and Kakujin is hjärp no 2's classmate when she studied Japanese at Lund university. Somehow we managed to get him hooked on Johnny's as well. And when the translators felt that their Japanese was competent enough hjãrp-subs was born. And so here we are.
