hey everyone! my name is lisa. i've just joined this community, because i'm really into hitmi shimatani's music lately. my current favorite songs would have to be Garnet Moon, Falco, Viola, ~Mermaid~, PASIO, Dragonfly (my first hitomi song), Ramblin', Angelus, Destiny -Taiyou no Hana-, etc.. some info about me is that i'm 15 years old, and i live in Brooklyn, NY. i hope i enjoy this community like everyone else here!
and on a related hitomi note, here's the covers for her new single "Neva Eva", which comes out on June 6th.

For those who knows Doraemon, September 3rd is Doraemon's birthday ^_~!
So as a special, I extracted Hitomi's "Yume Biyori" performance in the Music Station Super Live 2003, because that song is also a Doraemon themesong. It is adorable, you see her dancing with kids and all of the Doraemon characters! X3

Hitomi Shimatani-- "Harumachibito" |

Two new tie-ups have been announced for Shimatani Hitomi. The first is the new opening theme for the anime Black Jack 21, and is titled Destiny -太陽の花- (Destiny -Taiyou no Hana-), and will be on air starting April 10th and the song will be an upbeat track.
The second tie-up is titled 恋水 -tears of love- (Koimizu -tears of love-), and will be a ballade, with lyrics written by Shimatani Hitomi herself. The song will be the new theme song for TV Tokyo's Wednesday Mystery series, and will be on air starting April 5th.
Neither song have planned releases yet.

BTW, does anyone have any of Shimatani Hitomi's early singles? I've got her albums and I'm just missing her early singles. So if anyone has them would they please upload?

Sorry if this is inappropiate. Just figured I'd let you all know.
Hitomi Shimatani is taking place in the live-action TeniPuri(Prince of Tennis) movie coming up in May as the actor for Ryuuzaki Sumire.
You can see her here.
Personally, I don't think the choice really fits, I mean, Ryuuzaki Sumire is quite old...but then again, it's Hitomi. And Hitomi = <3.
Also, according to the site, it's her first time taking place in a movie, so let's all look forward to her debut movie performance!
