Hello everyone! The movie has made it to the discount cinema in my area, so I've planned on seeing it every week from here until the end of summer. One of the things I was looking for particularly when I saw it today was the less obvious cameo of Douglas Adams' head that I've heard about: in the Magrathean warehouse. I think I saw it, but I want to make sure:

Right after Zaphod, Trillian and Ford get the POV gun, there's a shot of Slarty and Arthur in their vehicle. Behind them, there's a planet similarly-coloured to Earth with blue, green and white, but I think it's in the shape of Douglas' face. Am I right, or was it somewhere else that I missed? :)

If I missed it... I'll look again next week! :D

And, are there any other cameos that you know of other than these?

News on Region 1 DVD

According to The Digital Bits, the Region 1 DVD for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (due on 9/13) will include deleted scenes, a commentary track and a "making-of" featurette. Ok folks, Here is an update. Currently I am working on converting the first book (the hitchhikers guide) into a flash. I am re-drawing all the characters... and am going to animate everything and stick pretty close to the book. I have been working on a script for almost 3 months now... and unlike the movie.. I am not going to force a love story between tril and mr.dent, or will I have humma . I am working pretty hard on this right now... close to 5 -6 hours a day. It is going to be done in 10 sections. The first section is due out here pretty soon... I will post a link when it is finished.
