So, now we're either at 3 years later, or going to be celebrating 3 years... How have things changed? Are there any new additions to the family??

I have my own, and "married" 2 more. I'm now looking at the possibility of having 2 teenage drivers *screams* in a few months. And I work for an insurance company and this terrifies me!

So I finally took my dress in about a month ago to get my wedding dress preserved. I picked it up yesterday (they never called me; I had to call them and ask about it after a month). We opened the outside box to look at it through the window to make sure it was really my dress (which it was). However, the box my dress was in was not sealed and it was just basically folded up inside a box....no pretty presentation of it or anything. I guess I was under the impression that you would be able to look in the window of the box and it would be folded with the bodice facing the window or something, so you could at least look at it. But no, my dress is just folded up inside it like any old piece of clothing, and it was not sealed. So now I'm concerned that it's not actually been "preserved." For those of you who've had your wedding dress preserved, what did yours look like? Is this the way it's supposed to be?

Especially when I joined it not too long ago...

Maybe we can liven it up again?  

This is our second year of marriage, folks.  Even if we've been married before, this particular marriage is totally different.  How has your relationship changed since you married?  Have you discovered new things about each other?  Things that used to be cute that now drives you up a wall?

I'll go first. 

We've moved several times trying to get settled in a place that meets both of our needs.  The stress that came with that is beyond description. Couple that with a new marriage, and we've come pretty close to killing each other more times than I'm comfortable admitting.  He's changed jobs a lot in this turbulent economy, but he has definitely found something a bit more steady, and is back in college.  Thank the Gods, we haven't had any major money problems yet.  We've done the ebb and flow thing as we have adjusted to being with each other, but I'm sure that's been exacerbated by the fact that we come from two seperate cultures, and they are vastly different.  He's Bolivian, I'm from the US South, from a Irish farming family. 

So, it's been quite the adjustment, and things have never been boring. 

How are y'all doing?

So I guess I've decided to get my wedding dress preserved.  It's been hanging in my parents closet for about 20 months:(  Is it still possible to have it preserved?  For those of you who have preserved your dresses, how long did you wait? 

What did you do or are you planning to do for your 2nd Anniversary? Was/is it as big as the first?

Well, I really suck at these things sometimes...but here goes:

My husband and I were married 12/6/06 (holy crap I can't believe it has been that long!) and have had a crazy ride so far. He's Bolivian, and I'm from South Carolina, and that makes for an interesting mix sometimes.

I really didn't believe it when people told me that the first year is always the hardest. I was married once before, and the first year was easy. Maybe that should have told me something...

Anyway, so our first year was a little rocky, with lots of adjustments. We're still together, and stronger for it.

I don't know. How are you guys feeling about heading into the 2nd (and for some, the 3rd) year of marriage?

Its been quite a while since I have been by here. Hubby and I have been married a year and a half now (married September 30, 2006) and we now have a 2 month old baby boy. It came a lot sooner than anticipated (he was unplanned but I love him to death!). We think we will be buying our first house sometime next year.

Anyone else having babies or going to in the near future? :)

I'm not new here, My screen name before was sarahandsean. I made that name for just wedding purposes only. I've had this name since 2001. So anyways, I'm not sure if anyone remembers me or not. I was the one who had a hard time trying to get my fiance to set a date(he's in the army). Well, I had thought we were going to get married in 2008. Instead, we were married on november 22nd 2006. The day before thanksgiving(which ironicly will be on thanksgiving this year). This nice lady married us at her home and i have pictures.
