Hime-styled hair toturial
This is a tutorial of my Himegyaru hair as shown in this entry. I hope it is not too vague, and comments are always welcome!
You need:
- 6 large rollers
- Narrow-toothed comb or small brush
- 1" or larger curling iron
- Hair dryer
- Hairpins
- LOTS of strong hairspray (Aquanet, Rave etc)

Start with dry hair. Divide your hair across the top of your head from ear to ear, then roughly divide the top section into six smaller section, one in the middle and two on the sides.

Lightly spray and put the sections into the large rollers, rolling away from your face. Hold in place with hair pins if necessary. The blue rollers are behind the red rollers by the way.

Leave the rollers in for about half an hour, blow-dry on low power if you want. Meanwhile, divide the bottom part of your hair (those not in rollers) into four sections. Using the curling iron, curl the left two sections anti-clockwise, and the right two sections clockwise. The curls should be curling towards your face when you place them to the front, and not Farrah Fawcett-ing away from it. EDIT: If you think curling towards your face doesn't suit you, reverse the curling direction of each pair of section.

After curling, carefully combine the two left curled sections together by lightly running your fingers through the curls and "smooshing" them together. It's kind of hard to explain how to do that properly, you have to experiment a bit. The two curls should turn into one spiral of hair; spray and blowdry it to set. Repeat with the two right sections.

Take out the blue rollers from the top of your head, spray each section lightly then tease (comb downwards toward your scalp while holding the section straight away from it) the heck out of them until you have a big fluffy mess on your head. Spray like crazy until the teased part is stiff, then blow dry on low power (you don't want it to collapse from the strong air from the dryer right?)

Take out the red rollers and carefully smooth the sections over your messy teased hair-pillow, so that you can no longer see the mess underneath. If needed, you can also tease these sections of hair a bit near your scalp, and then smooth it over the "pillow". Secure these sections at the back of your head with hairpins, then spray and blowdry all over to fix your hairstyle.
