Welcome to HIM Icons, the first internet community devoted to HIM icons! If you don’t know who HIM are, then we don’t think that you’ll find this community very useful. However, if you’re a fan of HIM (they’re a band, check them out here),you like to make icons and share them with other people, or you just want too get some icons of gorgeous Ville for your livejournal, then this is the place for you!

PLEASE READ THE FAQ BEFORE JOINING.

Can I take the icons from this community? Yes. But you must give credit. Put the icon creator’s username in the image keywords UNLESS otherwise stated by the creator.
What If I don't credit? We'll hunt you down and eat your firstborn.
Can I request icons? Yes. But don't expect it to be done. We're all busy people, you know…
Can I re - distribute these icons somewhere else? No, you silly goose.
Can I claim these as my own? Uh. No.
Can I use these on other journal servers (ex: greatestjournal, deadjournal, etc)? Yes. But please still give credit.
Can I send these to my friends? Yes, but you MUST make your friends give CREDIT TO THE ORIGINAL ICON MAKER.
Why is posting done in Friends Only mode? When entries are in Friends Only mode, it makes it a lot easier to notice an icon thief because that means that they’re a member of the community. This isn’t because we’re elitists who refuse to allow non-members to see our work, this is because people tend to steal icons and not give credit.

We can't stress this enough, but trust us, if you don't credit, we WILL find out!

!! ENTREIS SHOULD BE FREINDS ONLY! Despite the fact that we've set up rules, people have been taking without crediting. Setting entries as friends only makes it so that the only people who take without creditin are members, and then we can easily find them. :)

!! Posting of non-HIM Icon related things is discouraged. Only post HIM icons!

!! WHORING OUT OTHER COMMUNITIES IS CONSIDERED A NON HIM - ICON THING. We'll usually delete things like
that.

!! Only icons that you have made yourself may be posted. If you post icons that were not made by you, you will receive a warning, and your post will be deleted. If you do it again, you are at risk of being banned.
