About The Show
The Hillywood Show is the brainchild of Hillary Hindi, and her older sister Hannah, both hailing from and still living in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show began as Hillary's entry to AOL's "Be A Red Star" contest, and featured Hillary playing Captain Jack Sparrow, Willy Wonka, Edward Scissorhands and Mort Rainey, all Johnny Depp characters. As luck would have it, she lost by a small margin. The decision was made to continue the show from there, and 2 years later, the show has become a major hit on the web. Up until Episode 4, the show revolved around Captain Jack Sparrow hosting a show with segments hosted by other characters. Episode 4 also featured Hannah Hindi as Will Turner. Episode 4 ended with Doc (from the "Back To The Future" trilogy, played by Hillary) accidentally transporting Jack and Will to Las Vegas instead of Port Royal. From then on, the show has followed the antics of Captain Jack and Will as they try to get back home, but not without first bumping into some familiar faces and getting lost in other worlds and time dimensions.
Each episode is written, produced, edited and directed by Hillary and Hannah themselves, and air on YouTube every 2 months or so. They've also put together bloopers and outtakes from each episode beginning with Episode 2, and these have also been quite the hit. Another reason for the show being such a huge hit are the girls themselves. Their acting is more than spoof or parody; They stay as true as they can to the characters they play, from vocabulary to gestures to idiosyncracies. Each scene shot is done with great care to get the angles and lighting just right. Also dead-on are their costumes and make-up, truly much to be envied by any fan.
EPISODE SUMMARY
Episode 1:
Episode 1 is Hillary Hindi's entry to the AOL "Be A Red Star" contest. In it, Captain Jack Sparrow takes over "The Hillywood Show," and claims it for his own. Willy Wonka does the weather report (and quits), Edward Scissorhands gets creative with a dog, and Mort Rainey tells quite the, er, compelling story. All characters are played by Hillary.
Episode 2:
Episode 2 picks up on the island of Pelegostos, where we find Captain...no, Chief Jack Sparrow, who is not too happy that The Hillywood Show lost the contest. He is, however, a gracious enough runner-up to get a "live interview" with the "winners" of the contest. Also in the show, Napoleon Dynamite does an audition for J. M. Barrie. At the end of the episode, Jack is duped into saying a certain name three times. The name starts with a B and ends with "Eetlejuice," strangely enough. Introduces Hannah Hindi as a co-star for the first time.
Episode 3:

Beetlejuice has taken over the show! Everybody duck! Edward Scissorhands learns etiquette, Mort Rainey makes corn and Sam and Joon teach us how to play with our food. It is Sam who ends up "saying the B word" and sending the grumpy host back, but it is Captain Jack, "viciously mutinied upon" and left stranded somewhere, who gets the last laugh as he crushes a beetle he finds in the sand with his bottle. Also co-stars Hannah Hindi as Joon.
Episode 4:

Will Turner has found Captain Jack! Albeit, he's also found himself lost and stranded with the good captain. After a lot of walking around, trying to find a way out, Doc Brown makes contact, but bungles up and accidentally sends them to, of all places, Las Vegas. Also in the show, Willy Wonka runs us through a work-out routine (and quits), and Ichabod Crane tries to operate on a dead woman. ("But...she's dead.") Co-starring Hannah Hindi as Will Turner.
Episode 5:

Viva Las Vegas ("Is that near Port Royal?")! The boys find themselves stranded still, but this time in a different location altogether, almost otherworldly. Jack, employing the services of a stretch limo being driven by Raoul Duke, is all for exploring the strange and colorful land, but Will wants to just find a way home. He leaves Jack to his own devices in a huff, and Jack ends up being thrown out of the limo by Duke. Waltzing into a bar, he runs afoul of a big, burly biker bully who sits on his hat and doesn't really care. A nice punch to the face sends Jack into a hillarious dream sequence, which involves him exploring Las Vegas, and running into...a bottle of Pepsi. He, Will, Elizabeth Swann and even Captain Barbossa then become slaves to the Pepsi song until Jack wakes up from his dream. When he does wake up, he finds the bully still there. Or rather, the bully finds Jack is still there. Biker Dude remedies that quickly with another punch that sends Jack halfway across the room to close the episode.
Episode 6:

After being reunited with and fixing his beloved hat, Captain Jack leaves the bar, only to run into the authorities who arrest him on accusations of assault made by the bully. A 5-minute chase sequence ensues with the police to the tune of "Bad Boys (Whatcha Gonna Do?)". Jack ends up escaping into a backyard and thus crashing a children's birthday party. Not happy about this, the little children join the chase. Meanwhile, Will, on the hunt for Jack, runs into Raoul Duke, who is no help at all. Jack rounds the corner, and Will and Raoul find themselves in the warpath as well. The chase sequence, a tribute to "Dead Man's Chest," is interrupted by someone who calls "CUT!" and casts Jack in his newest picture, "Dr Jackula."
Episode 7:

Ed Wood returns home to his girlfriend Dolores to tell her of some "incredible news": He's met an "action movie star," Jack Sparrow. Talking to the audience, he reveals his excitement for the project and the star, who he has cast in the lead role. Oh, and that he likes to wear women's clothing, particularly his girlfriend's sweaters. Dolores is not too happy about being aced out of the lead role and Ed's transvestite tendencies, and it's the china and dinner plates that pay the price more than Ed does. She does, however, manage to introduce the back of Ed's head to the frying pan. Upon consciousness, Ed gets straight to work on "Dr Jackula," but while Will proves to be disciplined and able, Jack proves otherwise. Reaching the end of his tether, Ed disappears into the dressing area, only to reemerge in a blonde curly wig, a pink angora sweater, a pencil skirt and high heels. "Eunuch," Jack mutters, making a crude gesture of scissors with his fingers.
Episode 8:

"Dr Jackula" bombs, unsurprsingly. Upon hearing about it on the news, Doc Brown panics, only having now remembered Jack and Will. He and Marty set up the DeLorean and arrange to meet Jack and Will in the parking lot. The latter duo arrive 45 minutes late, since "Jack decided to hit the rum hard." Another miscalculation on Doc's part sends the boys somewhere else...Into the woods, where Mort Rainey just happens to be taking a walk. Mort is unhappy to have run into other people, and Shooter shoos them away. Far away. To a galaxy far, far away. This episode is dedicated to the memory of the bottle of rum that sacrificed itself so that Jack could escape being crushed in the face with a shovel by Shooter.
Episode 9:

Jack and Will are on the run, though Will isn't quite sure why. After convincing Will to leave the keys of the DeLorean with him, Jack makes a run for it. Anakin and Obi-Wan are hot on his heels, and catch up with him in a club. Stormtroopers take Jack away, only for him to escape and get his hands on a Sith's lightsaber. Anakin sees him with the lightsaber, and believes him to be the Sith Lord the Jedi have been looking for, and enters his service in exchange for the keys to the DeLorean. With the DeLorean in his grasp, Evil!Anakin now has brought "peace, freedom, justice and time travel to my new empire!" He and Obi-Wan get into a skirmish about this, and somewhere in the fracass, Anakin drops the keys. Jack takes them back surreptitiously and makes a run for it. The Stormtroopers are unable to catch him this time.
Episode 10:

There's no place like home, they say, but home -Port Royal or Tortuga- is a good hundred of miles away from London, so for now, Jack and Will will just have to say "There's no place like London." Also newly arrived in London after a long time away is Sweeney Todd. After telling Will of his dislike for what he has been through with a song bordering on the sarcastic side, Sweeney walks off. Jack does the same, entrusting Will to find gas for the DeLorean, which has just emptied out. He finds himself sauntering into Mrs Lovett's Meat Pie Emporium, where the lovely Mrs Lovett treats him to a song, some of "The Worst Pies In London" which Jack seems to like very much, and most importantly a bottle of gin. After leaving Jack to enjoy the pies and the gin, Mrs Lovett joins Sweeney upstairs, where he is reunited with his beloved friends, his razors. Once his odd ode is over, a knock on the door brings Sweeney out of his reverie. He turns to find Jack Sparrow waving at him through the glass windows of the door.
Episode 11:

Episode 11 picks up right where Episode 10 left off. Jack enters the parlour, and immediately tries to strike up a deal with Sweeney -the DeLorean, its empty gastank, and Will, for half of whatever profit Sweeney makes from the parlour. Not happy, Sweeney swings the boiling kettle at Jack, knocking him unconscious. Mrs Lovett comes up to check on Jack, but finds Sweeney has stuffed the Captain into the trunk. He dismisses Mrs Lovett when he sees Will on the way. Just as he is about to dispose of the Jack problem, Will enters the parlour in an urgent mood, saving Jack's throat. As Will asks Sweeney for help finding gas, Jack escapes. Unfortunately, Sweeney sees this, and tries to go after him, but once more Will gets in his way. He orders him out, Mrs Lovett comes up, and Sweeney then has an "Epiphany." To cool him off, Mrs Lovett takes Sweeney to the park, where she reveals to him her dreams of living a life with him "By The Sea," only to find Captain Jack interspersed into those dreams, even getting a nice big kiss on her during her dream seaside wedding to Sweeney. Not amused at all, Mrs Lovett turns to Sweeney and echoes his sentiments: "There must be a way to Jack."
Episode 12:

Seems Mr T's still feeling a bit depressed about his near-miss with Cap'n Jack. Mrs Lovett fetches him some gin, and gets an idea when she looks out the window. All of a sudden they've got a nice little plan to get to Jack. Elsewhere, Jack is lamenting the loss of his hat, which he inadvertently left behind at Sweeney's parlour. And, oh yes, he's hungry too, but it seems his hat is the bigger problem. He meets a beggar woman, who seems just slightly more out of her mind than Old Jack seems to think he is. In any case, she points him towards a good place to get food, but Jack knows he's too easily recognized. He acosts the beggar woman and takes her hat and skirt in an attempt to disguise himself. Unfortunately, Mrs Lovett doesn't like beggar women either, so she keeps attempting to throw Jack out with the help of Toby. Having had enough (and just a little less than his fill), Jack abandons his disguise altogether and heads upstairs to the parlour instead, where Sweeney has been waiting seeming to know all along that Jack would not be able to resist the bait.
Episode 13:

Episode 13 picks up right where Episode 12 left off. Jack has made it upstairs, and quickly makes it clear he wants nothing to do with Sweeney. He retrieves his hat, and makes to leave, but Sweeney feigns remorse for his earlier actions, and offers Jack a shave. Confused, Jack is coaxed into the chair, where Sweeney proceeds to try and make him comfortable before moving in for the kill. Unfortunately, Jack is a little quicker on the uptake than he'd anticipated. Nevertheless, Sweeney takes his oppurtunity and stabs Jack with the razors before slitting his throat and sending him down the chute. Seconds later, Mrs Lovett screams, waking Sweeney up from his seeming relief at what should've been the end. Downstairs, Mrs Lovett panics when Jack clutches at her dress. She wrests it away, and Jack pops up like a pimple on prom night. He's wounded and bleeding all over, but otherwise very much alive, but how? He pulls the answer out of his pocket - The cursed Aztec gold medallion. "Couldn't resist, luv." Mrs Lovett runs off to find Sweeney, and Jack helps himself to a pie. He unfortunately discovers a toe, and then an entire foot, in his pie. Cue Toby, who is hiding behind the furnace. He seems confused about Mrs Lovett, and tells Jack so, but before Jack can answer Toby, the door opens, and both Toby and Jack run to hide. "Sparrow, where are you, luv?" calls Mrs Lovett, but it seems Jack has disappeared. She sees the medallion on the floor, shrugs her shoulders, and makes to pick it up, but Sweeney stops her. It seems she's angered him by losing Jack. She pays a dear price for her mistake by being thrown into the furnace. Sweeney picks up the medallion, and perhaps swears to his wife that he'll finish it. Toby crawls out of the shadows and picks up the forgotten razor, as Jack creeps out of his hiding place as well. "Well, this is the day you shall always remember as the day that you almost--" Jack is cut off mid-sentence when Toby cuts Sweeney across the throat. That done, Toby turns a frightening stare in Jack's direction. Jack runs for it, and finds Will and the DeLorean. He orders Will into the DeLorean, but doesn't really tell Will why his throat is messed up. He does, however, ask Will how he got the car running. After Jack mistakes the bottle of rum will used as gas for the DeLorean as piss, the duo speed off. Meanwhile, in the basement, Sweeney's dead body is alone, kneeling in a pool of his still dripping blood. All is quiet...until Jack runs in and takes back his medallion. Season 2 closes on the lights flickering out on Sweeney's lifeless and bloody body.
Season 3 is finally here!
