 シリアル⇔NUMBER (Serial⇔NUMBER) is a Japanese Oshare Kei/Visual Kei band formed in April 2005, but became an official band later in June. Their current line-up is: 響希 (Hibiki) on bass 和音 (Kazune) on guitar 佐々木 仁 (Sasaki Jin) on vocals 紫遊 (Shiyuu) on guitar 華威 (Kai) on drums シリアル⇔NUMBER is one of the up and coming young Visual Kei bands to keep and eye on. Although they are characterized as Oshare Kei due to their mostly bright and colorful look and colorful costumes, their bassist Hibiki typically embraces the darker Visual Kei aesthetic. The band is also recognizable by their bookish looking guitarist Kazune who wears what can only be described as "nerdy" glasses, a rarity among Visual Kei performers. Their looks tell about their style of music too. Their fun, catchy music mixes flavors from a variety of styles including dance, pop, rock, heavy metal, and Latin. At first, シリアル⇔NUMBER consisted of Sasaki, Shiyuu, Kazune, Tama (their ex-bassist) and Kaiika who was their support drummer. Tama left the band soon and Kai became their drummer. Later in August 2006 Hibiki joined the band as their new bassist. With new releases from time to time, the band is still keeping their activities up, and will be a joy to watch as they continue to develop. Community This is the Official LJ Community for the Japanese Indie/Oshare Kei/Visual kei band, シリアル⇔NUMBER (Serial Number). They also have an Alter Ego side where they go by ゴシック⇔NUMBER (Gothic Number). Not much is really told about their alter ego but they played a show with Irokui 2007年6月26日. (More info is always welcome) This community is to have fun and support the band, remember that people! Feel free to post news, scans, wallpapers, fan art, translations, icons, releases, and anything else related to the band. But please don't steal others images, or uploads and share unless they give permission. Please remember to give the owners their due credits, and thanks.
