Welcome to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) hih_insomniacs, an affiliated community of hogwartsishome! You must be sorted at platform_934 and a member of hogwartsishome in order to join in on the fun.
This community was created as a haven for night owls from all the houses. There are currently six points/knuts earning activities posted each month that will keep you busy until the wee hours of the morning.
In addition to regular activities and contests, hih_insomniacs is designed as a place to get to know your fellow students and form inter-house friendships. Discussions about anything Harry Potter related or not are fine. The whole point is to get to know your fellow HiHers. That's hard to do without regular communication! Want someone to chat with until the wee hours of the morning? Post! This community is what you make it.

There are, of course, some basic rules you need to keep in mind.
Insomniacs Etiquette
1. Absolutely no house bashing, fighting, or drama. You will lose your house points! If you are having a problem with someone in the community, submit a comment at the suggestion post and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
2. You may post HiH community promotions (i.e. you are a club mod and you want more entries or votes in your contest) and/or outside HiH community promotions (i.e. you are a LIMS mod and you want more entries or votes in your LIMS). Please limit such promotions to twice a month for HiH communities and once a month for non-HiH communities.
3. LJ-CUT is your friend. If you are going to post graphics wider than 300 pixels, please put them behind a cut. If you are going to post more than one image, please put the other images behind a cut.
Posting & Submitting
1. Please post only between the hours of midnight and 8 am in your time zone.
2. All official activity and contest entries must be submitted during official insomniac hours.
3. Exceptions to the rule: questions about contests, suggestions for the community (at the official suggestion post), voting in contests, congratulating people on participating in/winning activities/contests, and responding to posts your fellow insomniacs make.
4. ALL posts, submissions, and comments should be labeled with your name//your house//your time zone.
