Hey guys! So, anyone remember whentheydress? It was a short-lived dressing room for the When they Cry series. Well, I'm the mod of that dressing room and I've been thinking of reviving it. However, there's just one problem: I don't really have the time to do so.

So, I was wondering if there was anyone who wanted to take it over? It's just a dressing room so the time requirements shouldn't be nearly as strenuous as modding a normal rp, but it will need someone who can maybe prompt some events once in a while when the place gets quiet or advertise in fandom comms and roleplaysecrets to get the word out. It may take some work to keep it active.

Maybe the better question to ask is, would anyone be interested in the revival of this joint Higurashi/Umineko dressing room? I realize there is an Umineko dressing room already, but it might be fun to bring the two series together. Thanks in advance for your responses!

I just recently got back into Higurashi, but I was hoping to have a discussion about it with you all. Hopefully it will be worth it. :)


I just got done reading a blog, in which the author really seemed to bash the Higurashi series as a whole. The man seems to me like he is plain ignorant, but that's not why I am writing this.

Do you, as a fan of the Higurahi no Naku Koro Ni anime, agree with the statement  "Anime encourages murder" in reference to Higurashi?

I, for one, do not agree with this statement at all. How can a cartoon encourage someone to kill a person? I have never been for the theory that television could cause violence. It's kind of like the Death Note controversy. No one will die from one student writing another student's name in a notebook.

Higurashi is just a horror anime meant for a more mature audience, in all honesty. I am sixteen years old, and I know when enough is enough. I know that I can't kill someone and get away with it. I've seen pleanty of horror anime series and plenty of movies - and I haven't even had a slight urge to kill anyone.

Sorry for babbling, please discuss! I'd like to hear your opinions! :)

Not the most fantastic thing in the world, but thta's not the main point of this post.  Does anyone know where I can find Higurashi raws? Preferably just to watch, but download links are fine as well.
