About
Welcome to the High Weirdness Project! We are a SubGenius community dedicated to Slack, which we achieve through our unending war against the forces of the Conspiracy. This war is fought on many fronts, but here on the World Wide Web it manifests itself through the finding and exposure of bulldada.

Our immediate goal is the building and expansion of our wiki-based Web site, which was founded as an online sequel to the classic SubGenius tome, High Weirdness by Mail (by Rev. Ivan Stang). Initially founded in 1995, the Web site was converted into a wiki in February of 2005, and we have been growing ever since. Our wiki is a gateway to many useful sources of Slackful information, and we are seeking your help to point us in new directions that we would not discover without you!

The Web site for the High Weirdness Project is intended to provide links to Slackful sites of all kind -- and especially, to provide reviews of those sites. But this LiveJournal community is here to provide commentary and input to the High Weirdness Project. We encourage you to contribute, to write, to comment, to offer news bulletins and new Web sites, and above all to have fun in doing so.

Do you know of a weird, useful, subversive, offensive, or stupid Web site that we need to know about? Tell us about it! Heard some gossip about the latest wankery and idiotic ego wars in the blogosphere? Let us know so that we can link to it in our daily Bulldada Newsblog! We want to discuss and comment on the latest goings-on in the war against the Conspiracy...especially news items and Web sites that focus on censorship, religious idiocy, subversion, stupidity, suppression of mutants and rebels by the Conspiracy, outrageously egotistic and self-centered individuals and sites, and any other subjects that may be of interest to this community.

The High Weirdness Project wiki has an RSS feed: http://www.modemac.com/feed.xml Also, there is a syndicated LiveJournal feed of our RSS that you can add to your list of regular updates: http://syndicated.livejournal.com/modemac_rss/
