Ok I know technically this takes place at Christmas time and not summer but this came to me after I went to the movies. Seriously, how else could he still be alive. Besides its always sunny in LA. 250 words for you

Joe was watching the news when Mac entered the room. “Have you seen what’s been happening in LA?”
“No, What’s so interesting?” Mac turns his attention to the television. It is broadcasting a breaking news story. He watches as TV cameras focus on a man, wrapped in a blanket and obviously covered in blood. The man pushes his way through the crowd carefully protecting a woman as interviewers shout questions. “What happened to him?”
“That’s John McClane, a New York City cop. You didn’t hear about the hostages in the Nakatomi building?”
“Sorry, TV has never really been my thing.”
“Terrorists were holding employees at the Nakatomi Corporation hostage. McClane takes out almost 2 dozen well armed gunman by himself. Kills them all. Plus, avoids being incinerated when the terrorists blow up the top two floors and crash an FBI helicopter.”
“Well, he is a trained Police Officer.” Mac smirks but he knows where Joe is going.
“But there's more. At one point, he supposedly jumped off the roof swinging himself through a plate glass window." Joe is reveling in the exposition, not realizing Mac is already at the end of the story. "And, according to the paramedic they interviewed, McClane walked away with minor scratches and a concussion.”
Mac nods his head in agreement. “I get it. It's a perfect recipe for a violent death and resurrection.”
“Exactly. So, you know what this means." Joe says, triumphantly.
“I’ll go pack a bag. Looks like we’re going to spend Christmas in LA.”
Still only on season two - Heck Tessa's still alive as I wait for my next DVDs (Damn you netflicks.) I know I am late to the party but, I can not resist this sandbox.

Hey, at this party the more the merrier!
Glad I'm not the only one whose brain works like this, although I had John as older in order to explain why he acts like he's had military training.
This was just great, although hate to be a nitpicker, but Joe and Duncan didn't know each other when Nakatomi happened, but hey, who cares? It's still a great fic, thanks for sharing. :)
It's a crossover that just screams to be written isn't it? XD
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment!
