About
This community was made a few years ago for artists to display works of art, but through the years has turned into an outlet for those artists to not only show but also sell their works. So I have decided to let things be the way they are and turn this community into an artist's shop community! If you have works of art to sell or trade, please post the images under an lj-cut. If your artwork is not for sale and you would like to post it for feedback, please indicate somewhere in the post that the artwork is not for sale.

If you have an etsy account or something similar, feel free to advertise here! If you have tips, tricks of the trade, tutorials, or questions about material and tools, please by all means share your thoughts and questions! I only ask that you be kind to one another in the process.

Rules

- Please do not spam this community with your posts! If you can see it on the current page, you probably don't need to post it again. Also, only post again if you have new material to sell/show. Repeat posts are not necessary, and will be deleted. No exceptions! Repeat offenders will be treated as spam, and banned.
- Please respect EVERYONE! Rudeness and negative attitudes towards others is not tolerated in this community. If you have a problem with a member, please inform the moderator of this community (feebsicle@hotmail.com). But I expect everyone here is mature enough to know this common courtesy already.
- Critiquing a piece of work is encouraged but not necessary. Remember that critiquing is a form of expression and opinion and should never be taken personally. It is never an attack on the artist themselves, and should be seen as a way of learning. If you do not agree with a critiquer, you do NOT have to take their advice. People are allowed to have an opinion on your work, so get used to it. I will not ban people from this community for having suggestions and opinions.
- DO sell your work.
- DO NOT sell someone else's work! Excuses such as "my friend wants me to sell this for him/her" are not applicable in this community. Sell your work, and your work only. This community also does not condone selling works of collage using clippings from copywrighted publication, unless they have sufficient proof that they are legally able to do so. This is a safety precaution that goes hand in hand with plagarism.
- Use safe methods of selling ONLY. If you do not know how, I suggest using Paypal, as it is the safest, most popular method I know of. Getting an account at Paypal is free, and completely secure. Never give your credit card or personal information to ANYONE, and only give your shipping address if you feel completely comfortable with the transaction. You do not have to sell your work to someone if you feel uncomfortable with it. Money orders are always safer than cheques, and NEVER mail cash.
- This community does NOT take responsibility for any actions of its members. If you give your personal information out to someone and become a victim of identity theft as a result, this community and Livejournal hold no responsibilities for that theft, and can do nothing about it. Please contact the correct authorities and your credit card supplier if this ever happens.
-NEVER POST YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ANY COMMENTS OR POSTS OF THIS COMMUNITY! Please handle your transactions through secure email, paypal, or other safe means.
- This community also does NOT take responsibility for the loss or damage of goods through postal service. If your piece of artwork is lost or damaged while being sent to the buyer, please contact the postal service you had used. Usually they will offer insurance of the item when sending, so if you are afraid of you item being lost or damaged I suggest paying the extra amount for insurance. It is up to the seller and buyer to decide who will pay for shipping and insurance. All transactions are between the seller and buyer, and any descrepencies should be dealt with between the two and not within this community.
