This is my first post in a fic-related LJ community. I hope I've submitted it the right way. Title: Masking One's AgeAuthor: mini_ficwriter /Obelisk of Light on FF.net Summary: When Tsunade realises that she’s almost completely dependent on her Age jutsu, it’s much harder to take that mask off. One shot; contains spoilers for chapter 456.Rating/Warnings: PG-13 for sexual hinting and angst. You may need tissues. Genres: Angst/Romance Pairing: JiraTsuna Beta: Angel Wings-008 (on FF.net) Disclaimer: I don’t own Naruto and am not making any profit from this fan fiction. Title: The Copy Ninja Author: JBMcDragon Rating: NC-17Status: COMPLETE Genre: It is now a TOTAL PWP. ;-D DISCLAIMER: I do not own these characters, nor am I making any money off of them. They belong to Kishimoto, to my knowledge, or maybe Toykopop or something. Just not me. Used without permission, and not for profit. Author's note: I've published a book, with three more due out in March. Check out www.jbmcdonald.com for more info, or take a look at the bottom here for a sneak peek of By Degrees (yaoi) and Treasure Hunting (het), on sale now. ;) Summary: Never has the term 'Copy Ninja' been so appropriate. Wandering home from a mission to copy a jutsu that makes other jutsu go wrong, Kakashi is pretty sure the world is out to get him. Imagine his surprise when he learns he's already been home for a full twenty-four hours. Except it's not him--it's a clone gone wrong. But when it doesn't vanish at injury, thinks of things even before he does, and not even Pakkun can tell the difference... Well, who's to say which is a clone, and which is the real thing? Finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, Iruka is saddled with a ninja that might be a clone. Mind you, an earlier drunken mistake led to great sex and an awful morning after; being a clone would be Kakashi's just desserts, in his opinion. But as they spend time in each other's company, he realizes that he'd be sorry to see this Kakashi go--and certain the man is going to. How do you fight the facts when they're stacked against you? Not even a genius is sure of that answer. Hidden Village changes and submission policies
Hey, folks! Okay, so I officially closed down the Hidden Village, but have sorta opened up this LJ as the take-over. If you've been posting stories here, then you may, of course, continue. December, for instance, will continue to happily be posted here. If you had stories posted up at Hidden Village before, you're more than welcome to submit stories again! (If you want to be awesome and submit links to anything marked as 'unfinished' there, I will fix the Hidden Village webpage links. Seems only fair. >.>) (Note that in the profile for here I say that I'd rather not be linking off-LJ. That DOES NOT apply if you're telling me where the completed version of one of your stories is. I will link to wherever it's posted, happily. ;)) If you didn't have stories posted up at Hidden Village before, you're also more than welcome to submit stories here! The same submission rules apply, I'm still just as picky, and you might check BOTH the profile here and the submission rules (linked to from the profile here) before submitting. As always, if you want to rec someone else's work, that's awesome! I will happily post that, too. ;) (Provide links! Again, preferably on LJ, but I will make some allowances for the fact that you can't re-post someone's work, or control where they posted it. >.>) And if I had a bunch of your stories posted there, and you're still writing, well, I would love to see you here. ;) JB | | Sunday, May 25th, 2008 | 5:39 pm [arashinokakyoku]

[Fanfic: JiKaka] As Time Goes By
Hallo, here's hoping I'm not being too presumptuous. ^^ Sorta lurked before now, but have finally finished a oneshot and hoped I wouldn't be treading on anyone's toes by posting. Author: Zhang Sizheng Title: As Time Goes By Genre: General, reflective, friendship Pairing: Jiraiya/Kakashi (sorta). Minato/Kakashi if you squint. Rated: T (for Language) Summary: Jiraiya was twenty-four, and knew that the kid was going to be fucking screwed in the head when he peeked over the rush bassinet and saw a tuft of light hair buried in a mismatched pile of puppies. Gift fic for checkerbloom Read at fanfiction.net. If you enjoy it, check for the webpage after the fic. I have one book published, and several more on the way! HOORAY! Also, if you're wondering where I've gotten off to, I've joined the collaborative writing group Fallen Leaves, where I'm writing Inuzuka Tsume and Morioka Kaito. The stories there are fantastic. And I'm totally unbiased, really. ;-D JB | | Monday, September 22nd, 2008 | 11:09 am [jbmcdragon]

I just read "To Hold" by JBMcDragon
So sad. I love this series, please tell me its not over. I am willing to beg for more. On my knees and everything. That just came out perverted, but it just can't end like that. Pretty please. On another note, love your other stories too. Spent loads of time reading Kakashi Mission, loved it!! Broken Ninja series was so good. You just can't find good Raidou and Genma stories anymore, its all SasuNaru not that there is anything wrong with that but you just have to go on FF and AFF to read the same idea over done time and time again. Where do you update the most? I read To Hold on AFF but I didn't see it on your other site. Still begging Raeshi Current Mood: hopeful | | Thursday, October 4th, 2007 | 12:36 am [seizansha]

i'm still not sure what inspired this... it came to me a work one night. and all i do is answer the phone. it was actually only supposed to be around 500 words, but it just kept rolling on! i'm not 100% sure what her name means, but i chose it for a reason. i just hope Meitsuki works well for you. ^^' Title: Like Grandpa Did Author: seizansha Disclaimer: it’s Masashi Kishimoto's universe, I'm only playing in it. Rating: PG Author’s Note: there’s some beautiful takes on ‘she’s left behind with the kids’; I just wanted to try it the other way around. Summary: it’s been five years since he’d lost her; Naruto decides it’s time to explain why Mommy’s not there. | | Tuesday, August 21st, 2007 | 10:03 pm [crimsoncourt]

December Chapter Six December: It's sad quiet in our apartment, because Itachi doesn't talk much. He laughs even less. I don't laugh much either, because there's nothing to laugh about anymore. Especially in December. Category: Chapter fic Status: Work in Progress Rating: R for language, drug and sexual references, mature subject matter. Pairings: KisaIta, KakaIru, a bit of GenRai Beta: Plot Afficianado Notes: Broke a narration pattern here. Sasuke starts, but he doesn’t finish. There will be less of him in the next two chapters and more KakaIru and KisaIta moments. He’ll be back in Chapter Eight. And what’s this? Chapter Six is shorter than Chapter Five? Yes, I think so. Three fanfiction recommendations. Not so long ago, I read FastForward's fanfiction 'Roommates', and I must admit that I'm hooked to her writing now. The way she makes the characters interact with each other is wonderfully written and she changes the scenes from being angsty and humoristic back and forth, which makes you both laugh and cry in the same story. Most authors have trouble writing something that brings forth both of those emotions. I’d recommend everything she’s written, anyday.
Roommates Words - 120,056 Rating - m Status - completed Summary - Take one broody Sasuke, one hyperactive Naruto, shove them in a University dorm room together, and what do you get? Absolute chaos. SasuNaru
Blood and Tears Words - 86,833 Rating - m Satus - Completed Summary - The long awaited :my bad: Roommates sequel. Sasuke wakes up, but something isn't quite right with him. And what does this new organization in town want with Naruto? SasuNaru
Pyromaniac Words - 84,072 Rating - m Status - Completed Summary - Sasuke is a firefighter intent on bringing down his arsonist of a brother, who only has one goal in life: kill Sasuke. Which of the two brothers will come out on top, and how many will die in the crossfire? SasuNaru
On a side note - All three of the fanfiction have Sasunaru as the main pairing, also KakaIru is a minor pairing in all of them. Genma is VERY OOC but in a very good way. I'm actually glad she wrote him the way she did. Do not be alarmed and stay away from this fic becasue of that minor fact but read it instead and you shall understand what I'm talking about.
I did a quick search of the three fanfiction on the Hidden Village main site (Didn't find them anywhere) so I decided to recommend them here. If they are in fact up on the site, I'll apologize in advance. I have no idea how the link cut works, sorry guys!

Updated links
I know that you wanted to put December up at some point, so I thought I'd be helpful and tell you that I've done some editing and reposting, so the old links do not work. But, I have them all assembled for you. December: It's sad quiet in our apartment, because Itachi doesn't talk much. He laughs even less. I don't laugh much either, because there's nothing to laugh about anymore. Especially in December. Category: Chapter fic Status: Work in Progress Rating: R for language, drug and sexual references, mature subject matter. Pairings: KisaIta, KakaIru, a bit of GenRai Notes- In my projected timetable, the completion of Chapter Four marked the halfway point. This is now the official second half of the story. The first half is 67 pages long on Microsoft Word and contains 41,196 words, including author notes. This one is, once again, promising to turn out just as long or longer than the last one. I’m hoping that I can wrap this up within my original timetable estimation, but there may end up being nine chapters as opposed to eight, with the addition of an epilogue Which, god help me, will be short. newbie offering fiction
just a newbie naruto fan offering up my first try at this ficdom. i'm always working fics around stuff that doesn't get explained, so here's a little snip to get your interest. She nodded, not moving as the old man took him from her arms. Watching until they started around a corner, she turned back to find him at arms length. She let the silence hang, even though every bit of her was aching to get back.
“Why?”
She raised her head, averting her eyes. “He…” Suddenly loosing her nerve, she took two steps down the road before looking over her shoulder.
“A… Arashi asked me to.”
the link's to my lj, but it's also over in ff.net. |
