noticed the last post was in november, so i'm not sure if anyone's even going to read this anytime soon, but well, here it goes anyway.

i'm not sure if i've posted anything here or not before. if i have, it's been too long ago seeing as how i can't remember. or if i have posted something, if it was even any of my h/hr pieces, which right now are very few and extremely far between, but i'm trying to get that changed, but it's a disgustingly long process sadly enough. anyway, if i haven't posted them, i have two short (extremely short for me) harry/hermione pieces i may or may not have posted here at one time, but have posted, when i managed to first write them way back when, on a few other harry/hermione communities. i have the harry/hermione claim over at fanfic100 and they are the only two prompts i've been able to write and complete to at least a bit of my own satisfaction. the first is for the prompt "green" and is titled "the way the eye moves when seeing" and can be found here: "the way the eye moves when seeing" in my writing journal. the second is for the prompt of "friends" and is called "a holding out of hands" and can be found here: "a holding out of hands". anyways, uhm, those are the only two pieces of my harry/hermione writing anyone except myself and possibly one or two others have ever read, and here's the current situation....

several months ago, i actually, finally, managed to write a piece i promised to a fellow h/hr fan and lj-er and member of a community i'm a co-moderator of who helped us out when we were having some technical problems, and i asked to repay her somehow, so she gave me a few prompts for a h/hr piece. the help she provided was possibly around a year or so ago, but i hadn't been able to write and then didn't have the time with school going on, until about two months or so ago, when it all just came out in one go in about three and a half or four hours one night. so it's finally written and complete, except that i know there are places where it can be trimmed down/rewritten/revised/deleted, but i feel the need to have another, or several other, h/hr fans read over to and get their thoughts/opinions/criticism about the piece overall in general and specifics before i send it over to the girl who i wrote it for, which it is now a combination of a thank you for your help and belated birthday ficlet for her. it is probably extremely long in most opinions (usually all that i write, h/hr or any of my original fiction or non-fiction stuff is all long, i'm far far too wordy and i know it, but need help cutting things out) but i was wondering if there are any of you guys out there, fellow h/hr writers or not, who might be up for reading it and critiquing it and giving me your feedback and thoughts. it's not titled at the moment, which is one of the things i always seem to need assistance on with any and all of my writing, but anyways. and like i said, it's a pretty long piece (i have it in a word document currently, should anyone need it otherwise, i can post it in my writing lj or possibly another format) and in the word document is around 13 pages single-spaced with size 12 font. but anyways. i'll put a bit of the piece behind a cut if any of you possibly interested would like to see what you may be getting into. and thanks ahead of time if anyone is still reading posts here. i've also posted this request over at harmony_fiction. thanks again, and hope everyone is doing well.

Many of you all participated last year, and I'm looking forward to seeing some of you again!

For those who didn't participate last year, trust me - it's a lot of fun, and we had a lot of success with it last year.
