A fiction exchange centered around Harry Potter & Hermione Granger.♥ By signing up, you are agreeing to write a story for another person. If you decide to drop out of the exchange without notice or a very good real life reason, you will not be receiving a gift and you will not be welcomed back to this exchange. Your name will also be posted publicly for all to know. Please sign-up to commit. ♥ Yes, artists are more than welcome, though please note that art will be able to be given entirely depending on the amount of artists that sign up. ♥ You must have a Livejournal to participate. ♥ You don't have to be 18 to participate, but you must state your age in the sign-ups and if you are under 18, you cannot request nor write/draw anything with a NC-17 rating. ♥ All stories have a minimum word count of 1000. There is no maximum. ♥ They must be complete when they are submitted, multi-part is acceptable, but all the parts have to be submitted together. Please divide them yourself, indicating where you'd like the story split if it goes over the size-limit of LJ. ♥ When you are submitting your story, send it to hghpficexchange@gmail.com, as an attached Word document (.txt, .rtf as well as .docx are all acceptable). Do not copy and paste anything into the body of the e-mail. ♥ Stories must be beta-read. This is a gift. If our beta squad finds multiple errors, SpAG, and canon misspellings, or if they feel the necessary amount of effort hasn't been put into your gift, the story will be returned to you. ♥ Please read the sign-up comment of your giftee very carefully. You are not asked to write in every single one of the requests/kinks, but trying to get at least a couple in is a must. However, the big thing here are the squicks. Do not include anything that your recipient states he or she doesn't want. There is no exception to this rule!! Our quality control squad will be matching the assignments to giftees before approving them, and if you wrote something the person explicitly stated he or she doesn't want, it will not be gifted to them. If it's a small enough thing, it will be sent back to you, but if not, your gift will be gifted to the community and a pinch-hitter will have to be found. Let's please not let that happen. Read carefully. ♥ Do not post your story anywhere else until the exchange is finished and keep quiet about who you're writing for. ♥ There is nothing more disappointing than to make something and have the person never even acknowledge it. Thank the person who wrote or drew for you, and a nicer comment than "Thanks" or "I liked it" is recommended. ♥ Receiving communication from the mod is important. If you disappear and don't answer multiple e-mails, or if you never respond to the e-mail with your assignment, eventually you will be dropped from the exchange with the assumption that you don't want to participate anymore. ♥ Extensions will be granted, but reasonably. Please ask ahead of time, and we cannot give more than one extension of a week unless it's a special circumstance. ♥ This is not the place to be if you're hoping to be spotlighted on Fandom Wank.
