**ABOUT**
This is a community dedicated to the Johnny's Entertainment group HEY!SAY!JUMP, which consists of two sub groups, HEY!SAY!BEST (Takaki, Arioka, Inoo, Yabu, Hikaru) and HEY!SAY!7 (Yuto, Yamada, Chinen, MoriRyu, Okamoto). The original group Hey!Say!7 which released a CD earlier in 2007 consisted of members of both group: Takaki, Arioka, Yuto, Yamada and Chinen. The CD had the opening (Hey!Say!) and ending (BON BON) themes for the anime series ラブ★コン (Lovely Complex). HEY!SAY!JUMP in it's current formation was announced at Johnny's Juniors Yokohama arena concert in September 24th, 2007. This caused a huge uproar among the junior fandom, especially among Ya-Ya-yah fans because every signs until then had been pointing towards the debut of Ya-Ya-yah. Combining popular juniors from already excisting groups is not new to JE. This was also done with NEWS when they debuted in 2003. Hey!Say!JUMP is continuing the line of the "Volleyball supporter debut" in JE. Previous ones were NEWS (2003), Arashi (1999) and V6 (1995).

**WHY THE NAME HEY!SAY!JUMP?**
All the members of the group are born in the heisei era (which started January 8th, 1989). JUMP stands for Johnny's Ultra Music Power. The previous groups, "original" Hey!Say!7 had the same meaning behind the Hey!Say! part of the name. The number 7 on the other hand stands for the year the group was created, 2007.

**WHERE CAN I SEE HEY!SAY!JUMP?**
Being a debuted group, HSJ makes appearances on known music programs such as Music Station, HEY!HEY!HEY and so on. They also appear on the Johnny's Entertainment own music program Shounen Club (Johnny's juniors are the regulars in that show, debuted groups as guests). Yabu and Hikaru host their own TV show Hi!Hey!Say! which replaced their old show, Ya-Ya-yah. Yuto, Yamada and Morimoto are regulars in another TV show Heisei Families. HSJ has also taken over a show that was previously a juniors program, Hyakushiki. All the members appear in this show. Also, for shows that have already stopped airing, Yabu and Hikaru had a show called Ya-Ya-yah with their old group (with many of the HSJ as guests), and Hikaru, Inoo and Yuto were regulars in a show called YOUtachi! Both Ya-Ya-yah and YOUtachi! ended in 2007. Of course, like other famous Johnnys the boys appear in TV dramas. For more info about that, please check the profiles of the boys.
