about hex_stills.
[info]hex_stills is a bi-weekly icontest based on the television series Hex, shown in the UK on Sky One, and in the US on BBC America. most of our challenges are episodic, but every fifth challenge will be a specialty (theme, technique, etc). every skill level of icon maker is welcome. for the most part, challenges will run from Friday to Friday with voting being posted Friday evening and results being posted on Sunday evening. rules.
rules for this icontest are pretty much the standard for stillness contests: [x] become a member before entering. [x] in order to preserve partiality, all entries must be kept anonymous until the results are posted [x] no animation. [x] icons must be specially made for this challenge. [x] do not post your icons anywhere else until voting has closed. [x] icons may be entered by commenting to the challenge post. all comments are screened to ensure anonymity. when commenting, please use the following format:

challenges will begin on Fridays, with icons being due the next Friday at 10pm EST (3am GMT). Voting is posted as soon as possible afterward, and results are posted on Sundays.
