In the year 2207, a young witch went deep into the basement of the Ministry of Magic, looking for the plans to tear down her home to build a hypermagical bypass. The ultimate answer to the ultimate question of what happened to her house can be found in another universe. Our chief concern is that while she was looking, she happened to bump into an innocuous looking file cabinet, jarring it open. That very night, a Wizard by the name of Augustus Flappweiler happened to be in that very basement giving the floor its annual mopping, when he noticed the open cabinet. Curious, he decided the floor could wait another year and so he set down his mop, Accio'd a butterbeer from the kitchen, and began to examine its contents. As it happened, those files contained the personal records and effects of key participants in the Voldemort wars. There were stacks of neatly tied letters, diaries, Pensieves, and yes - even shoeboxes, each clearly labeled with the famous (or notorious) name of a witch or wizard long gone.
