This is a community for Axis Powers Hetalia, an anime/manga/webcomic made by Hidekaz Hiyamura. It was made by fans, for fans. We love history and do not think it should be censored or forgotten in any way. This community is not only to allow fans to freely express their love of Hetalia through art/fiction, but also to provide a safe, mature, and tolerant atmosphere. Censorship is never okay, thus we've created a place to share work with little to no restriction! Please do not join this community if you are uncomfortable with art or fiction portraying darker historical events, or glorification of governments other than democracy.
The mods do not claim to represent the majority and the opinions shared here belong soley to the person posting them.
We are here to share history, fanworks, and to learn and remember.

Yes, I know rules place limits on freedom of expression, but without rules there is no order. However, as always, these are open to discussion! If you have any helpful suggestions of things you feel should be added or removed, please contact a mod with your concerns!
x The community focuses on historical facts and issues, regardless of the government or topic at hand. If it happened or is relevent, it is welcome.
x However, as is common in this fandom, all posts DO NOT have to portray a historical event or try to illustrate a time in history. If you want to share art or fiction of your favorite couple or a character doing something cute, you're more than welcome to! All pairings are welcome~
x Dont flame, respect. Discussions are fine (and encouraged even) as other members can learn, but if it gets out of hand or a person doesn't feel safe here, you'll receive a warning.
x Anyone reported for being overly rude, intolerant, or purposefully offensive will be given a warning. Mods will not ban without at least 2 very clear, very respectable warnings. We do not want to censor anyone for their opinion or point of view, but if the community feels you are causing a problem, we want to make sure you are aware and are given enough of a heads up and time to tone it down before you get banned in any way.
x Have fun, dont worry about it not being accepted, and if you are curious about an event in time, feel free to post a question so long as it can tie in with Hetalia.

But what if my post doesn't contain any of that? A: Please, do it anyway, for your own safety. We are aware that the world is full of intolerance and we don't want any of our members to receive wank or hateful comments just because of the open nature of the community.
