| About: | What is a macro? The best example of a macro are the ORLY owls you see floating around. For more information check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_macro Here at herp macros, we only allow macros of, naturally, herps. This means only photos of reptiles and amphibians. No cat, dog, or other furry animal macros allowed. Both photos you find online and ones you take of your own pets are allowed. For those of you just joining, there is a chance you may see photos of snakes and other reptiles eating potentially cute food like mice and bunnies. Just a heads up. Ground Rules!: 1: Be polite, yadda yadda etc. Common sense. 2: DO NOT put your animal in an unsafe situation to make your macro. 3: Follow the Livejournal terms of service. 4: Absolutely no photos of animal abuse allowed. Photos of dead animals are not allowed either. 5: One average sized photo per post is just fine. If you have several to share or one huge one, use a cut. For instructions on how to make a cut tag, go here: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=75 6: Suggestions, comments, and notifications of problems may be sent to me via email if I’m not online or AIM if I am online. My friends only entry in my personal journal may be used as well, I check it frequently. 7: Posts cannot have comments disabled. Users cannot delete or screen comments to their posts that they find inappropriate. You should contact a mod if you have issues. 8. Macros of snakes eating prey offered ALIVE will not be allowed. If you find photos on the net you want to macro but aren't sure if the food was offered alive, play it safe and don't. Photos of snakes or other animals being offered prekilled or frozen/thawed food must be behind a cut with a warning. | |||
