This community was set up as a place to request any and everything Heroes you might be looking for. Be it fic or other art, fanmixes, a beta job, screen captures, or anything else you can think of, there must be someone out there able and willing to help. Just try your luck, and fill a request if you can!

Hopefully, with enough participation, the excruciatingly long Spring hiatus will go by in a blink. SO PIMP IT! ^_^

A request round-up will be posted every few days (depending on volume) so that unfulfilled demands will remain visible at all times.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

(Well, not really 'frequently' given we're new and all, but, you know!)

• Can I request stuff, even though I have nothing to offer? Yes, yes, three times YES! This is all about no-strings-attached, volunteer-basis fun times! If inspiration strikes and you can fill someone's request, great! If not, that's okay, too. And you might just inspire somebody to do something they wouldn't have thought of on their own, so don't be shy with requesting!

• How many requests can I post? As many as you wish. Mind, they may not all get fulfilled as soon as they are formed, but you might find yourself surprised. If you have any hesitation, just go ahead and place the request.

• What exactly can I request? See below for more details, but in short, pretty much anything! As long as it's in compliance with our guidelines below, please don't hold back.

REQUESTING FANFIC

• Leave a comment on this post.
• Specify in the subject line the characters, pairings (if any), and highest rating of the piece you are hoping to read.
• In the body of your comment, provide as much or as little else as you'd like in terms of prompt, timeline, etcetera.
• Wait patiently. :)

REQUESTING ART/ICONS

• Leave a comment on this post.
• Specify in the subject line the nature of your request (i.e. icon(s), header, banner, wallpaper, &tc.), desired dimensions (in pixels), and one featured character/actor or pairing.
• In the body of your comment, provide as much or as little else as you'd like in terms of additional characters/actors, colors, themes, text, animation, &tc.
• Wait patiently. :)

REQUESTING MULTIMEDIA

• Leave a comment on this post.
• Specify in the subject line the nature of your request (i.e. screencaps, pictures, fanmix, &tc.) and one featured character/actor or pairing.
• In the body of your comment, provide as much or as little else as you'd like in terms of desired resolution (in pixels), additional characters/actors, relevant episode, event, &tc (where applicable).
• Do not request episodes. All such requests will be instantly deleted.
• Wait patiently. :)

FILLING A REQUEST

/!\ Before tackling a request in the multimedia or miscellaneous posts, please reply to the requester's comment to let us know what you are working on. This is important to avoid simultaneous volunteers busting their asses on the exact same project only to find their work superfluous in the end. Wouldn't want that, would we? :]

As far as fanfic and fanart are concerned, we like to think it's best to leave the opportunity for multiple volunteer writers/artists to work on the same requests, leading to as many different end results. Do feel free to tell the requester you are working towards making their wish a reality, but it will remain a completely optional step.

Please only state claims on requests you will be able to fulfill in a reasonable timeframe. We will not impose deadlines, but do keep in mind we are all in Heroes withdrawal here. Teasing is tantamount to torture. ;) ~~(Alliterations FTW)~~ If you find yourself unable to honor a claim you've made, let us know and hopefully somebody else can take over. :)

• Make a public post in any journal of your choice.
• Reply to the original request comment with a link to that specific post.
• Drop the link in our filled requests post.
