Welcome to Round Two of Heroes Fanvid Rumble (formerly known as Heroes Last Video Maker Standing). This time around, things are going to be a little different. Rather than voting someone off after each challenge, Round Two is going to last six months and participants will compete against each other through six challenges. At the end of the Round, points are tallied and the top three vidders will be awarded with a shiny banner.

Rules

1. You must be signed up in order to participate.
2. Premade videos are allowed, but discouraged. If you happen to have made a video to one of the given songs, take the opportunity to make a new one or edit your premade video to make it even better.
3. When signing up, use the word, put the phrase Irish Sparks in the subject line so that I know you've read the rules.
4. Watermarks are encouraged so that no one can steal your video or clips from your video to claim them as their own.
5. If you need any help vidding, a great place to check out is

vidding.
6. You can edit and shorten the songs however you want, but video must be at least one minute long, excluding opening/ending credits.
7. Don't mesh the songs with outside songs. Only use the songs provided!
8. Only ONE submission per person.
9 .CLIP THEFT IS NOT ALLOWED. If I find out that you took a part or all of someone else's video to use as your own, your submission will not be accepted and you will recieve an automatic and perminant ban from the community! If you don't know where to find clips, go HERE.

Points

1. Everyone who signs up starts off with one skip point.
2. For pimping the community in a public website like a journal entry, community, public MySpace, Xanga, Facebook, forum, website or anywhere else that's public and on the Internet, you get an extra five points. You can pimp up to three times, earning a total of fifteen bonus points.
3. You get one point for entering your video into the challenge.
4. When voting, first choice gets ten points, second choice gets five points, and third choice gets two points.
5. If you skip a challenge, you do get any points for that month, so skip at your own risk.

Voting and Schedule

1. Vote fair! I cannot stress that enough. DO NOT vote against a video if you don't like the pairing or character.
2. Vote based on the QUALITY of the vidder's ability.
3. Vote based on the ability of the program. If someone used Windows Movie Maker (which is not that great), but did perfect beat uses and nice effects verus someone who used Sony Vegas (great program) and did a lot of fancy effects and overlapping, but did not pay much attention to the beat of the song and the lyrics, vote for the one made in WMM.
4. DO NOT tell other people to vote for you.
5. What you should look for:
-Timing/Beat use
-Originality
-Lyric interpretation
-Use of Storyline/Alternate Universe (a plus, but not a requirement)
The 1st of the month: Challenge begins
The 7th of the month: winners of previous challenge announced
The 30th/31st of the month: challenge ends, voting posted
