# 001 - Killer on the road...

Who: Eric Daniels and Open
Where: An empty freeway

He carried a guitar. A cigarette dangled from his mouth. Black boots. Torn jeans. Faded shirt. Worn coat. Everything about Eric said drifter. Look a little closer and it screamed danger. He walked up the centre of the freeway, seeing the city on the horizon. He had no idea how long he'd been walking, or where he was walking to. Last thing he'd remembered was Vegas. Didn't matter. It wouldn't be the first time he had no idea where he was going. Wouldn't be the last, he wagered.

He didn't care. He had a new playground now.

# 001 - When in doubt, sleep!

Who: Mamono Ko and Open
Where: An Unknown Street

It was very much a goblin reaction. She had seen it many times before. If a goblin was in danger, or lost, or confused... they always had one course of action open to them. They would sleep. Having lived amongst the creatures for so long, Ko found herself mimicking her unusual friends and looking for a safe place to sleep. # 001 - Little Girl Lost?

Who: Tamell and Open
Where: An Empty Lot

From what she could tell, the city was completely empty. The buildings, much higher than any she had seen in a long time, loomed over her as she pulled her cart through the ghost streets. It was dawn, from the feel of the light, and Tamell was completely lost. She had no idea where she was, but it felt like it was where she was supposed to be. Like she was waking up after a long sleep. Or like she was coming back to where she belonged after a long time away.

The clacking of the cart wheels on the sidewalk was comforting, and it bounced off the buildings. She passed a high chain link fence to her left, and where the fence ended was a dusty vacant lot. She stopped, the cart rolling gently to a halt behind her. She cocked her head lightly, looking over the empty space, walled in on three sides by the buildings beside and behind.

A cockroach raced across the lot, pausing in the centre to twitch it's long antannae in the air. As it sped on and dissapeared inside an old tin can, Tamell smiled a slow smile. She stepped her bare feet into the lot, feeling more secure on the dusty unbroken ground than on the concrete of the sidewalk, and pulled the cart into the lot behind her.
