| About: | This community has been created with the goal of having intellectual discussions about Alternative Healthcare and creating a network of knowledgable individuals. If you have a philisophical or academic interest in Herbalism, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Aromatherapy, or other fields of Alternative Healthcare, please join. I'm a student myself, in my first year for my Master Herbalist diploma at Wild Rose College of Natural Healing in Calgary, Alberta. Share the whys and wherefores behind your practice, let the world know why you chose the path of healing that you did. Help others understand that the different methods of Alternative Healthcare are not a joke or to be taken at a whim. It's something that works, with deep, historical roots and centuries of proof and credibility. It's a solidly founded medical practice that has been honed over time. Info: Okay, I realized that having membership moderated was kind of stupid. So membership is unmoderated, but posts are moderated, just to make sure that no one is posting spam or things that shouldn't be. No cross posting, please. This community is strictly academic. However, if you have a wealth of information on a type of therapy, or an herb, or something of importance to the Alternative Medical Community, please post here. Make sure your posts are well thought out and researched before you post them though.
