Hey sistahs, I'm afraid I'm going to have to resign my position as every-other-Friday-poster. Life is just getting busier and busier these days and it's getting more difficult to find time to get online. Sorry to up-and-leave, but I'm afraid the time has come to pass the torch on to another sistah. Please let Casee know if you'd like to do so. :)
With that, I'll leave you with a melange of Ian goodness.

Quick note to let you all know that the deadline for the charitable donations to Project Kaisei as our Christmas gift in honor of Ian and his lovely family now has an extended deadline.
Too busy during the holidays? No time to donate? A little short on funds? Just forgot in all the hub-bub? Here's your chance. The deadline has now been moved to January 15th.
Details can be found here... and here. (because I'm a littlelazy short on time, lol)
Remember, it doesn't have to be a lot. Every little bit, when added together, makes such a difference. Just think of all the many tiny stars that make up the grandeur of the night sky.

As New Year's beginnings go, this one ranks at the very top of Worst Ever for me, so I'm calling "do over" and starting fresh today, here at the Happiest Comm on Earth.
henryian_daily brightens even the darkest of days, so I post today with hope for a better beginning in my heart and present The Faces of Hope to you all.

Happy New Year again everyone! I thought I'd get a little help from a certain "HotScot" to illustrate & share my New Year's Resolutions with you all!

Des, you looked shocked...and bewildered....I PROMISE this time I'll keep 'em....

The first Ian-as-Jesus Sunday of 2010! ;) I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Udre is still recovering from his own New Years Eve party...
( he had some questionable festivities )

Happy 2010, sistahs! I had a heck of a time trying to decide which pictures to use for the first post of the new year, but in the end I decided that nothing beats the man himself so here's a little bit of Ian just being Ian! ;)
( we'll take a cup of kindness yet... )
And here is the January posting calendar wallpaper thingy (I need to come up with a better name for this thing). Keeping in mind that I put this thing together between the hours of 4 and 5AM while on a cold medicine and champagne cocktail...do let me know if there appear to be any inaccuracies? Thanks!

I hope everyone is having a safe and happy New Year! May 2010 be filled with more Ian (and less buttons? Ha.)

A very snappy-quick daily post, as I've caught a cold and don't have a whole lot going for me in the brain department today, but here are a few good ways to ring in the new year!
( 5...4...3...2...1 )
Whatever your plans, I hope everyone has a happy and safe New Years Eve! See you in 2010! *scurries off to flop on her bed and pass out* (Obviously, I have big plans for the evening. Haha.)

"Ehh...whatdya mean I'm not a regular character in the final season, brotha? The fangulls won't be best pleased about this..."

Didja miss me? ;) I hope everyone had a delightful holiday! A big hug-filled thank-you to the gals who took over for me last week - I'm seeing a lot of fun and creative (and, uh, gorgeous) posts as I scroll through the comm and I can't wait to give them all a closer look! In the mean time, thought I'd reciprocate by bringin' out the big guns...
( bang bang )
Now, my head is a little fuzzy from the post-holiday crazies (and from being away from my Ian pics for too long! *swoon*) so I'm not sure what the plan was for next week? I have no problem taking next week to give you gals a break from posting, since you all just took two weeks in a row. It's up to you sistahs! In the meantime, happy Tuesday! (:

Udre and his girls have been snowed in over the holidays. He's understandably frustrated by that. (He also came up with some interesting ways to occupy his time.)

Someone ppppplueeeeease help me get this song out of my head! You know the one...Neil Diamond..."Forever in Bluejeans"...dontcha?
Money talks
But it don't sing and dance and it don't walk.
As long as I can have you here with me
I'd much rather be
Forever in blue jeans.
Such a jaunty, rattle-around-in-your-head-all-day kind of a tune. Can't anybody make it go away? *sniffles*
Hello Miss? Is something wrong? Can I help you somehow?

( =D Yes, that's very helpful, but please sir, may I have some more? )

Hey fangirls, have you ever wished you could send Ian a little something for the holidays that would have a far-reaching effect? Something that might bring a smile to his lovely countenance and do some good in the world at the same time?
The ladies at the Henry Ian Cusick Group are collecting donations which will go to Project Kaisei, a research group that is studying the Great Plastic Vortex in the Pacific Ocean between Ian's beloved Hawaii and the mainland. This is an area where the garbage we dump into the oceans collects in one gigantic mass, posing a danger to sea life and to the health of the ocean itself.
If you would like to make a donation, no matter how small, it will make a difference - every dollar does! Our own
kwag58 is collecting the donations. Please contact her at tbluetoo@aol.com if you'd like to donate - she'll fill you in on the details. She will send the total sum of the donations to Project Kaisei in the name of Ian Cusick, by way of his fan club.
We'll let Ian know what has been done in his name, of course, and bask in the glow of knowing we've done something good for the planet as well. The deadline for donations is December 31, 2009. If you have a little left in your pocket after Christmas, please consider donating to this worthy cause!
For Ian: May he always swim in brilliant seas ~

Many of us get a little stressed during the holiday season. You know we all ought to slow down, relax, take it easy...
