Quick note to let you all know that the deadline for the charitable donations to Project Kaisei as our Christmas gift in honor of Ian and his lovely family now has an extended deadline.
Too busy during the holidays? No time to donate? A little short on funds? Just forgot in all the hub-bub? Here's your chance. The deadline has now been moved to January 15th.

Happy 2010, sistahs! I had a heck of a time trying to decide which pictures to use for the first post of the new year, but in the end I decided that nothing beats the man himself so here's a little bit of Ian just being Ian! ;)

Hey fangirls, have you ever wished you could send Ian a little something for the holidays that would have a far-reaching effect? Something that might bring a smile to his lovely countenance and do some good in the world at the same time?

The ladies at the Henry Ian Cusick Group are collecting donations which will go to Project Kaisei, a research group that is studying the Great Plastic Vortex in the Pacific Ocean between Ian's beloved Hawaii and the mainland. This is an area where the garbage we dump into the oceans collects in one gigantic mass, posing a danger to sea life and to the health of the ocean itself.

If you would like to make a donation, no matter how small, it will make a difference - every dollar does! Our own kwag58 is collecting the donations. Please contact her at tbluetoo@aol.com if you'd like to donate - she'll fill you in on the details. She will send the total sum of the donations to Project Kaisei in the name of Ian Cusick, by way of his fan club.

We'll let Ian know what has been done in his name, of course, and bask in the glow of knowing we've done something good for the planet as well. The deadline for donations is December 31, 2009. If you have a little left in your pocket after Christmas, please consider donating to this worthy cause!
