AboutThere once was a white builder's helmet on a patch of grass.
A fanfic author and mad woman,![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
oncelikeshari became drawn to the helmet and snuck out late one summer night to snatch it from the clutches of darkness.
She told her flist of this object and all wanted to come to England to see, wear and sign the helmet.
The helmet is not the holy grail of fandom. Some think it just a myth, thatoncelikeshari went to a shop and simply bought a helmet, while others believe it to be the reason we all came together in the first place.
Was it once a Portkey?
Was it a novelty hat that fell out of Albus Dumbledore's Christmas cracker?
Was it transigured into its present shape by Minerva in class?
Whatever it was it belongs to fandom now and it has inspired us to create.

ronsexuals, names were drawn from the helmet and prompts were given to fans of Ron Weasley. Throughout the month of March there was Ron fic and Ron art and Ron love all around.
Then a Hermione fan calledthesteppyone wailed, 'But what about Hermione?'
Thus the comm was born.
April will be Hermione's month. May will be Harry's. After that we ask you to nominate a character to have a month of fic and art dedicated to them here.
