Okay I watched the first part of the season finale of Hell's Kitchen and the final two are Christina and Justin. And when it came down to the part where these two pick their helpers, there was one surprise that Christina picked Dana first what with those two being best buds and all. There is one thing that worries me, through I'm afraid that their friendship may spoil Christina's chances of winning. Does anyone agree with me on this?

Ok so far season ten has been one of the crazest seasons ever. We had two teams both lose a taste then make it challege. Kimmie gets kicked out because she had so much trouble cooking her 'speciality' southern food. Robyn gets the boot after she gets her black jacket. Brian leaves, but after that little stunt he pulled with Ramsey he needed to go. And Clemenza? Well I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did. I really don't think he would have lasted as head of Gordon Ramsey's Steaks in Vegas.

Now when it comes to Barbie, as much as I hate to say this the way things are looking she may make the final two. As far as who will join her I haven't a clue.

Beef Wellingtons

I'm watching the season 10 premiere now and they're having an issue with the wellingtons. One of the girls said the problem with cooking them is you don't know if they're done until you slice them. And if the meat is raw, well, you're fucked.

Okay, I've worked in a kitchen before. So I just have to ask: Wouldn't a thermometer tell them if the meat was raw? Less dramatic for tv, but still. It seems like a huge waste of meat otherwise. :/

I've hated Elise for nearly the whole season, and Carrie was my favorite. (Tommy too, even though I knew he had no chance to win--but he was cute in that 'derpy puppy' way). But when it came time for the final 4 to run the pass? I was all for Elise being in the top two. Personally I think the only reason Will got the spot is out of pity.

The finale, to me, was so heavy-handed that it was just ridiculous. As soon as Paul started on the 'dead mother' thing, like, five minutes into the show, it was obvious he would win. No doubt he deserved it, but it just seemed so gimmicky regardless.

What'd everyone else think?

Three men and...Elise

Ok, so for the final four we have Will, Tommy, and some chief whose name escapes at the moment, and Elise. For this entire season I had hoped she would leave. Sadly this wasn't the case. Thanks to a hard dinner service, Jennifer was placed on the black and sent home. Which leaves the guys with an very loud, ego driven woman. God what was Will thinking?

At this point I really hope it's Will who wins, as for Tommy it would certainly suprise me if he makes it to the finale. This is one season where I hope a man wins.

All right, due to some recent posts (all now deleted), I'm implementing a few rules.

It's backkk! With two amazing episodes!

One of which was extremely bittersweet and fuck my life I am so sad about Vinny going it's not even funny.

Rob sucks, I'm happy he left but not my little guido. WHY. Sucks I like Gail too so I can't be that sad, but ughhhh. SO SAD. Especially since I facebooked him saying I hope he didn't go home this week and then story of my life. =(

This season has too many sad episodes. Curtis, Louis, Boris...SAD ELIMINATIONS. Now Vinny. UGH. At least it means hopefully the 6th place curse will be broken since I only like two people left and I feel like both of them are making it to at least final three/four (one of them I feel is gonna win).

At least the parts before he left were perfect. Trev finishing service practically by himself, Russell being nominated, Trev and Vinny getting drunk in the hot tub and calling Russell and angry man while Russell over hears and CHECKS OUT HIS BICEPS. SO AWESOME. But yeah, after that...meh. Sad episode.

Also, this is far from the best black team, but at this point, the final three should probably be Russell, Trev, and Gail. I'd say Jillian, but is Ramsay really gonna let someone with that voice make it to the final three? Okay, probably, but I hope not. I hate her voice, I hate her eyebrows, and I'm close to hating her unless she can not be a stupid bitch next week. I don't like Russell, but with talent like his and personalities like Sabrina's, Nona's, and Jillian's, there's no one else to put in the final three. I'm still betting on Gail to win. Not sure if I want her to anymore, but I mean, she's second best for me.

So, I mean they were great episodes. Just the second ones had way too many lows.

Since HK8 is on a hiatus until the 10th of November due to baseball or whatever, I took it upon myself to rewatch this season. I can go more in detail another time though because more importantly, I rewatched season 6 (Dave's season) yesterday and today. I've gotten up until black team as of today.

So, I'm on my way to the kitchen (ironic, eh?) and mom's watching HK. I just stare, dumbfounded. They have a new one out already, and the last season ended just last month. Not that I mind more HK, that's always fun, but it just seems so sudden. Like.. give us time to miss the old before you have a new one.

To make matters worse, she said they don't have JP anymore. What the hell?!

On a side note: I stepped down as mod. I just don't have time for it right now (not that I asked for it to begin with). So.. I'm not sure if the community auto-assigned someone or what.

I'm sorry, but how Ben didn't go home is beyond me. He made more mistakes than anyone that night and he still doesn't communicate ever. I think the only reason he's even still there is because Ramsay wants to see him expedite because he'll do the best at it, which I've known from the beginning. And it looks like he's not even gonna get to that because of this alluded health issue.

Which brings me to say that I hope he doesn't go home next week because I didn't sit for an hour, not working on a costume, turning completely on Ben, saying he should've gone home, JUST for him to have to leave due to a HEALTH CONCERN. That's dumb. I wanna see him leave because he's being a prick, not because he can't physically take the heat anymore. It's all too random anyway.

I still want the girls in the final two. Jay is a jackass and it's too expected for him to win since 4/6 winners have been male executive chefs. If Jay wins, he'll replace Rock for being the worst winner (Rock wasn't bad, he deserved his win more than anyone else his season, he was just part of a bad cast). Also, he needs to stop thinking Autumn's the worst. Autumn messed up this week and deserved to be nominated, but she still outperformed Ben. The fact that she's always the "first pick" grosses me out because it's all personal, and she doesn't even have a bad personality. Fuck the haters, team Autumn ftw. I think it would be the funniest thing if allllll of her haters (Maria, Siobhan, Fran, Ben, and Jay) had to sit and watch her win. Or even be in the final two. Such perfection, such sweet justice.

If it comes down to the actual competition and someone other than Holli wins, there's a problem. She's the only person on that end of the spectrum I wanna see win, now that Ed's gone. Unfortunately, the Jolli romance is getting a little stale. They're cute, but eh. It's not her, it's him.

Has it struck anyone that, aside from the wife and kid, Ben's kinda...sexist? Everyone he's hated has been female. Siobhan, Fran, Nilka, Autumn, and now Holli. I wasn't even expecting him to turn on Holli since he praised her a lot before, but now there's no doubt that he's a little biased on gender preferences. and it's getting annoying. As is "Oui, Chef!" Ben, seriously, Ramsay is not French. Stop it.

Going back to the epic Ben/Scott fight, as well as all the other dumb shit Ben's done since moving to the red team, I'm curious to know how Scott would've done. Scott (not the sous chef. the asshole contestant) was my least favorite for so many reasons, but I'm having a hard time believing that someone that I think has a worse personality than Ben would say "rice is poor people food" or try and usurp the pass from Chef Scott. It sucks but I'm having a hard time picturing it. Anyone have any thoughts?

If the final two is what I think should be the final two, the selection process should be...

Holli: Jay, Nilka, Ben
Autumn: Ed, Jason, Fran

Granted, it depends on who's back, Nilka or Ben might not come back and it would make sense to see Salvatore back to help since it's Salvatore, but just thinking of the final 8.

If it's who I think it's gonna be...

Jay: Ben, Nilka, Fran
Holli: Ed, Jason, Autumn

Idk if Jay knows how bad Fran is, but he seems to have an unnecessary vendetta against by babygirl so I don't think he'll pick her. If this is the case, Holli should sweep him, but he might choose Jason. Hard call considering their fight last week.

Favoritism aside, I think this season's gone downhill since Ed went home. It's not on Season 6 or 5 level anymore. Sadday.

All right last night's two hour episode of Hell's Kitchen was really annoying. The three reasons it was annoying were as followed: Ben, Jay and Holli. Ben for his cockiness and falling short when it comes to working in the kitchen (this was in the first episode of the evening), Jay for being a sore loser during the invidual challenge when Holli won(although he changed his tune when she invited him to go shopping with her).

And Holli for the fact that she and Jay got together (please tell I wasn't the only one who had WTH is going on?) expression on my face. It really bugged that Jason got the boot where I thought Ben should have gotten the axe.

So folks we have five left any ideas who's next on the chopping block?

That was the best two hours of my life. Two people who absolutely deserved to go home finally did.

I knew Fran would go home. 44 years old and mistaking crab for lobster and not being able to taste coconut? Is she on crack?! My mother's on her third bout of chemo for cancer, making her taste go to hell, but at least she can taste coconut and get it right. I think she stayed so long because of her "burn." I saw that episode, and it was NOT that bad. She just kept the bandage on there to make Chef feel sorry for her. IMHO, she has the palette of a dog licking its own butt.

Nilka's was sad but deserved. Sure she made mistakes, not as many as Fran did, but she made things much worse on herself. The one thing I learned about "Hell's Kitchen" is NEVER, under any circumstances, talk back to Chef Ramsey. Maybe, if they'd have calmed down a bit, he might have changed his mind. But she kept on and screwed herself even more.

But then, that's just my opinion.

Everyone on twitter hates this season, and I don't understand. Danny's season was worse (despite how awesome Danny, Paula, and Gio were), Christina's season was worse, Rock's season, ho god, was INFINITELY worse, and every elimination this season has been spot on and perfect, leading to the best final six we've ever had.

I'm sure horrorfangirl is happy because her two, and my two as well, picks for going home went home. Fran deserved it, Nilka deserved it. Though I'll admit it was a sad way to watch Nilka go home. The only time where it was joyful to watch someone get kicked out during service was was when Louie went home the first service in Season 6 (I would say Lacey's eviction in season 5 was grand too, but Ramsay was wayyyy too nice about it to compare to Nilka's)</font>. It was nice to see him see her off at the end though. I didn't want Nilka to make black team, I didn't think Nilka deserved to make black team, but she was a great personality. Fran had her great moments in terms of personality too (I gave her a standing ovation when she told off Scott), but I was thinking if she didn't go the next service she was up, she was gonna make the final three, ala Virginia, Bonnie, and Andrea (all of whom were useless) from seasons 2, 3, and 5. I wasn't having that shit.

Now, to the BEST BLACK TEAM EVER.

I think Holli will clench the title. She's been consistently good, she's pretty (that's a must for HK winners), she's likable. She may not do too hot on the expediting challenge though, so I'm not sure how that'll go down. I will be happy if she wins, she's my second hope at the moment since my previous second hope blew his chances this week and my second favorite is straight up not gonna win.

The two Jasons (Jay and Jason) seem to have the other final two spot filled. Sucks because they're my least favorites of the six. I think Jay and his dumb hair deserves the win more than Jason does. Jason did a good job this week and does well in challenges, but homeboy can't cook chicken and this is his only good service to date. Unless Autumn love is in the bottom again next week, he's gone. That being said, I think Jay's a bit of a jerk and his hair alone should prevent him from winning.

In case you couldn't tell from the icon, I have a huuuuuuuuge girlcrush on Autumn. She's beautiful, she's talented, she's funny, and she's deliciously bitchy. The Paula/Christina kind of bitch rather than the Andrea/Suzanne kind of bitch. She has never deserved any of the hatred she got from people like Maria or Fran or Siobhan. She's amazing. Hottest HK girl ever on top of that. That being said, if she is nominated again, she'll be caught up with Fran and will deserve to go home. I'll probably cry because I love her, but I will accept it. It sucks because I think she could do well at expediting, but she will deserve to go home based on the overall. Still, I love her, and I'm happy she at least made it to the final six where she belongs. I hope she can pull it together and be the Best of Worst/Best next week.

Ben, Ben, Ben. First off, Lolhaircut next week. Secondly, I had called him as the winner for a while, but he was being a TOTAL jackass this week. Last week was nbd, I thought Siobhan deserved the bullying she got, but he was being downright nasty this week. Maybe Fran and Nilka going this week can get his ass back on track but damn. So, I hope he doesn't win tbh. He's not even my second pick for the win anymore. It was too much this week. I love him, I like him better than the Jasons, but still.

Ed is my favorite. I hope he gets things back on track and gets to the final two with Holli, Ben, or Autumn and wins. I hate how he's fucking up. I hope it's time for him to be consistently awesome again.

Ugh. We're so close to the finale! This is so weird! But w/e, I love this season. Whether I like it or not, we'll have a good winner coming out of this.

Three gone nine to go

Ok since I missed last week's two episodes I had to play catch up via Youtube. So, the three people who got the boot were Scott, Salvatore, and Siabon (sp?). And as much as I hate to admit this; they kinda deserve it. With Salvatore, it had to do with the fact, that he had trouble with writing english and he was having trouble with cooking in general.

With Scott I think his cockiness about cooking that done him in. As for Siabon her wishy washy way of dealing with people messing around in her station and her mistakes that cost her the trip to London. God I hope Fran or Nikka go next since I can't stand either one of them.

The Girls Can't Get It Together

So last night on HK the girls FINALLY won one challenge at the start of the eposide. Ok that's good and all, but if you look at the stats out of the what? three challenges the guys won two of them. When you see stuff like that you can't help but think that the girls really don't have a great chance of finishing to the top four (or whatever it is).

My prime example of this are two women Fran and the skinny girl with all the mouth but none of the talent, (sorry folks I can't think of her name right now,) In Fran's case her downfall was the fact that she burnt her hand and didn't tell Ramsey about it when he asked what happened. Is this to show just how tough she is? If so, its a stupid way to show that, if anything it's smarter to admit what really happened get the medic and go on. As for the other girl she should just let her cooking do the talking and keep her head down.

As for the rest of the cast let's just say I don't see Salvortare (sp?) is gonna last much longer. Jason might if he can keep his cool

So, since I didn't know HK started when it did, so I've caught up. I guess I have opinions.

This cast is better than some seasons, but worse than most. Usually, the casts just get worse and worse. Still. Things aren't surprising me anymore. I kindof have a team, but I feel like he's gonna be another Brad s3, and I can't have that.

Uh, I've agreed on the past two eliminations. Stacey and Mikey were both lame. Mikey was kinda hot, sans the hair, but he sucked. LOLOOPS. And don't get me started on Andrew. Thank god he quit.

So, people I like (lol)...

Ed: Idk, he has a good head on his shoulders, he seems to know what he's doing. He did a great job the past two episodes. I'm just scared he's gonna pull a Brad or a Jim and get out 6th.

Autumn: Yeah, she's kindof a bitch, but she's also the best contestant on her side, so I have to root for her. She's also gorgeous. If she turns out to be a Melissa or Carol, I'll probably cry but expect it.

Benjamin: Idk, he's pretty cool. Non-offensive so far.

Salvatore: Yeah, I only like him for entertainment purposes, but I don't think he's gonna walk out completely like Andrew did next week. I hope not. He's funny and attractive.

Nilka: I like her energy.

People who I wanna like, but can't

Siobhan: She seems talented, but she's so weak it's sad. Also, I hate her name. But I think she'll survive a while.

Jason: He's funny, but too cocky.

Holli: Hot, but eh.

Jamie: Has the right amount of confidence, but there's nothing great about her talent.

Jay: Yeah, I can't take the hair seriously at all. Other than that, he seems chill.

People I can't stand

Fran: I don't like to jump the bandwagon, but god is she obnoxious and disgusting and I wanted her gone yesterday. No, I don't believe she has 30 years of experience if she sucks at cooking eggs. And at life.

Maria: First off, she looks like a Backyard Baseball character. She's absolutely hideous. Secondly, she's a total rancid bitch, I think she's worse than Autumn, and it sucks that she's probably gonna last long. She's so gross.

Scott: South Park rule applies here too. Scott's a dick. Wayyy too controlling of Salvatore in that one challenge and I don't think he's that great of a chef from what we've seen so far.

So, I guess there's a lot of "eh" people here, but ugh. Maria and Fran are beyond obnoxious. Scott's getting there. Team Ed so far. Idk how long that's gonna stay, but hopefully he won't suck that badly.

So far, better than season 5 and season 3, which very well could mean we could have the first disappointing winner in HK history. Scary thought.
