Here's a rundown of Hellsing-related activities at Otakon this year. Otakon 2009 runs from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. The full schedule of events can be found here. Pre-registration is closed but badges will be available at the door with a lengthy wait.

There are three Hellsing photoshoots planned. The first is on Friday afternoon at 1PM at the fountains. The second is on Friday evening at 7:30PM at the outdoor fountains (by the skywalk, on the way to the mall foodcourt). The third is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 1PM at the fountains once again.

The Hellsing Ultimate Panel of Ultimateness will return on Saturday from 11:30 PM - 1:00 AM.

Crispin Freeman (Alucard's English voice actor in the Hellsing Ultimate OVA English dub as well as the dub of the original Gonzo TV anime) will be a guest this year. He will have two Q&A sessions, the first will take place on Saturday from 11AM to 12:30PM in Panel 4 (BCC - Ballroom 2). The second will take place on Saturday from 3PM to 4PM in the same location. He will also be having two autograph sessions, the first on Saturday from 9:30AM to 10:30AM in Autograph 2 (BCC - Room 349). The second will also take place on Saturday from 1:15PM to 2:45PM in the same location.

*New* Erin Ptah is hosting a Shine (Hellsing Fancomic) meetup in the Pratt Lobby at 3PM on Friday, as shown here.

Hello Hellsing Community.

After many many hours, I recently completed line art of original Hellsing fanart and
I am asking if there is anyone out there who would be willing to lend their expert hand at colouring it on computer for me. Sadly, my own computer colouring talents are amateur at best, and I really want to,..um unveil this work of mine to the world at its fullest potential. To make matters worse the colouring program I am using was very complicated, and it just stopped working for some reason so I might not get to ever finish it on my own the way I want. I'm anxious to post it during this hellsing lull, and see what you all think. Of coarse I will grant half credits for the piece to whomever is good enough to help this developing artist out. I was planning on emailing it out to whomever is interested, and hopefully you can get an concept of the vague idea I was trying for.
