It has come to our attention that people might need some sort of introduction to our little corner of the Buffyverse, since we have made a few rather significant diversions from canon. So it is our pleasure to present you with this FAQ that will, hopefully, tell you everything you need to know about the Very Secret Diaries...on the Hellmouth!

RIP James E. Reilly  
Ahem, this is not a new diary.  Recently, James E. Reilly passed away at the age of 60.  Reilly, for those of you who are not daytime tv aficionados, created Passions!

Anyway, in honor of his passing we'd like to bring you a teaser of the next VSD. We think he'd be proud. We'd also like to remind everyone that while my sources don't mention Delilah, Reilly was totally plagiarizing Angel's m.o.

we've been podcasted  

Thank you thank you thank you to Tabz (also known as[info]sl_podcast ) for including the vsds in her biweekly podcast Strangely Literal! So now, if you'd rather hear than read Oz's Very Secret Diary, you can. And while, I suppose, you could always just read the vsds aloud to yourself... we think this is a little more entertaining.

Authors' Note:  First of all, thanks to the talented Cassandra Clare, author of the original Very Secret Diaries of the Lord of the Rings characters, for giving us permission to use her idea.

Second, the numbering of the days has little to do with the actual passage of time.  It is basically just saying which entry we're on.  We are too lazy to work out the chronology of the episodes, and the subsequent entries of all the characters.  Deal with it.

Third, this is set during season 3.  Other diaries to follow.

Finally, we hope you enjoy the first VSD!  Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
