Do you like Strindberg and Helium?

Have any of you read Strindberg's stuff? He was a real fellow, although you probably knew that. But I've been reading some of his plays and really like them.

Having been destroying every single one of my friends' minds with cries of "HEEEEEELIUM!" for a good few weeks now, as well as the mutter of -"For we are already in Hell."- every time I come out of my recent exams, I thought I'd have a look around to see if there was an LJ Strindberg an' Helium community, and lo and behold, I've found you fine people!

Hiya, I'm Katie, and I absolutly love strindberg and helium, one of my favorite things to do when I'm feeling random is walk up to my friends and start talking to them in my heluim voice. Personal opinion (and I think many of you would agree with me) THEY NEED TO MAKE MORE!!!!!! I am so getting the shirts asap beause they're adorable, but there needs to be one with the pic of helium with the cupcake on his head... or for that matter if someone made one of those I'd pay them for it...

Everyone, hello. I've been a member for some time now, but this is my first post to the community. I am Skeiburg. I, as do you all, love Strindberg & Helium.

My question is thus: what is your favorite of the four Strindberg & Helium cartoons, and why?

I will answer my own question: they are all my favorites. I love each, and am as likely to toss off a quote from one ("F and S, Helium! F. And. S.") as from another ("My soul is empty. I am dead to the world."). To try and choose one that I love above all the rest would be futile, and so I will cop-out utterly and completely, and say that I love them ALL.

Hey! I'm new here, as well as Allie, and I would like to say that yes, our Harry Potter roleplay community is doing a plot line with Helium. Here's a link to a weekly summary where the incident started. Check out the links if you guys want, you can only imagine what Severus Snape and Mundungus Fletcher are feeling with two pink floating bobbles always by their side.

Typical obligatory intro post!

I'm Lindsay, a 21-year-old Theatre Performance/Anthropology major, and I love August Strindberg's writing. A friend of mine on LJ (dancingdrew) is the one who introduced me to Strindberg + Helium, and I've since introduced a few choice friends to it as well. We have far too much fun with it.

Also, I posted because I thought you all would get a kick out of a part of a recent post from my personal LiveJournal:

Dan and I had much fun with Strindberg and Helium ideas today. He'd only seen "In Absinthe and Women" before, so I introduced him to the rest of them as he read the timeline of Strindberg's life and part of one of the plays in the Strindberg book I have. We decided that I'm going to apply to direct The Stronger for Footlights I (even though it's extremely short), and if I am accepted to direct it then we will do "In Absinthe and Women" as a preshow thing. He loved the idea, but only if he gets to be Strindberg *grins* He also decided that we need to hold a "Strindberg Deathday" celebration on May 14th--similar to Nearly Headless Nick's, I imagine, but without the rotting food and such ;-)

Hello I'm new.

Got back from the library today with a big book of Strindberg and decided to check out if there were any appreciators in these parts.

Im halfway through reading 'Easter'.

This is my favourite moment so far:

Mrs Heyst: (coming in and handing Elis a parcel). Here it is. Lina took it in.

Elis: A present? I'm afraid of presents, since that day I was sent a box of stones.
