| About: | Devoted to discussion relating even tangentally to a novel-length fanfic concerning the years after the War of the Ring and the coming-of-age of J.R.R. Tolkien's three heirs of the West: Eldarion of Gondor, Elboron of Ithilien, and Elfwine of the Mark. (Yes, all three are canon.) This story has taken almost two years to write, and in that time it has stirred up multiple discussions and debates on the various issues raised by the plotline, including love, loss, parenting, racism, and sudden hold-on-to-your-seat swerves from canon. As such, we'd like to open the forum to discussion of these and other issues. There has been idle talk of spin-off stories, fanart/manips, and more adult-oriented "cut scenes" -- these are also welcome here. We even welcome your own fanfics about any of the trio, even if they have absolutely nothing to do with HOA. In short, this is a catch-all for anything to do with the tale, and welcome! | ||
