Summary: In a split second, the past can repeat itself. But Naruto finds that what was then does not play out perfectly in the now, and the grief that rises in its wake can be as viciously dispatched as a body in mid-battle.

Well, I'm quite new to this community, I'll be quite sure to do the intro madlib. Though, I thought it would be nice to offer up this contribution as a good introduction as well. :)

Summary: It takes only a moment for the depth of love to reveal itself.
Author's Notes: This was written for orin's birthday, which I was terribly late about. -_-; But, as I was telling her, I got to thinking about the Taj Mahal and Sasuke as Naruto's own personal one - "all pale as marble skin, devotion and love and opulence-in-confidence with all those touches of grief and pain resting right on the water" - and I just really wanted to give her something nice, so this fic idea was born.

Like you're completely blameless in this.


And some drabbles from the RP we've been working on. I promised her I'd write little "what-if" pieces based upon things we've talked about, the avenues not taken. A bit more light-hearted than the fic above, I think.

Rating: PG-13 - for not-so-innocent glimmers of thought, and shameless touching of a sleeping Sasuke
Summary: There is a fine line between a good deed and a selfishly indulgent one. Though, for Naruto, maybe those are one in the same.

The individuality of love aside, Naruto had a hard time imagining anyone saying Sasuke wasn’t a good-looking guy.

Summary: Left to his own devices, Sasuke gets a charming surprise when one of his summons goes wrong.

Summary: A hero exists for two reasons - to fight and to fall. Still, we are all well-versed in the art of pretend.


There was a small burst of laughter, weak but no less relieved. “Do you have any idea how much this hurts?”
