OMG! So much love for this! Funny and clever and hot and sweet and canon: what's not to like?

First of all, brilliant concept. I've never encountered a reverse-splinching in fanfic before but it seems so perfect an idea that I find it almost ridiculous that it's never been explored before. The comedic/slashy possibilities are just endless. And all the puns were priceless.

Second of all, your Harry. And your Draco, too (I especially loved his secret love of Sir Reginald and his drunken anti-climatic response to his coveted induction to the Society). But your Harry was just pure love. And very canon. Snarky, stroppy and irreverent. I laughed out loud when his response to being "outed" as Draco's "conjoined twin" at the manor was to shrug and reach for a dinner roll. So. much. love!

And third of all, the sex (and then the sweet-perfectness of Harry sliding under the (polyester) sheets with Draco at the end). Very masculine and playful and damn hot to boot.

There are other things I could mention as well (i.e. the cheesy flat, Snape, Pinot Evil *G*) but I'd end up listing pretty much every detail (LOL, Head Auror Gallagher). So, I'll leave off with a huge "thank you." I really needed a story like this this morning. Definitely cheered me up :D

What a fantastic premise, and so well-executed! This was a really delightful read. The snarky banter, the awkward and hilarious situations, the development of the H/D relationship, the hot sex--I loved it! And the ending was so satisfying--as well as very appropriate to the prompt. Great job! I feel I should say more, with more details on my favorite parts, and if I weren't so short on time, I would. Perhaps I'll come back and leave a longer comment when I reread--as I'm sure I'll be doing. Thanks again for the great read!

Oh, I absolutely loved this! :)

First, I'm such a sucker for involuntary bond of any type fics. Throw in a good catalyst in the mix of Harry and Draco and watch the nature take its course is possibly my favorite concept (love the method you picked here - never seen this particular one used in fanfic). You did the concept justice. The flow and pace of the story was natural, characterization spot on, humor always there and my interest didn't weaver at no point. There were plenty wonderful embellishments and details that gave story that extra weight and taste. I also liked that the story kept the light feel to the end.

Smut scenes blew me away. They were every inch GUH followed by several exclamation marks and scorchingly hot but what I liked best is how smartly you used the situation to go past Harry's resistance. First scene prompted by Harry's refusal to sit back and think of England and the oh-what-a-hell- this-isn't-sex-not-really-just-pay-back and competitiveness of it... it felt to real and believable and fitting to characters involved (and did I say hot as hell? mustn't forget that). And even more with the next day scene where Draco used his slytherin ways to get to Harry's virgin -ahem- and it all being prompted by the competition and use of fingers the day before... You kept so much of their personalities throughout the sex and made the path that led to it all the more believable. In character sex and in team canon no less. Brilliant! My favorite smut of the fest so far by a long mark :) Also I loved how masculine the whole thing was - sex first, feelings later.
And the subtle way you took it from there to end and more was pure love.

Thank you so much for sharing this - I'll be rereading this for sure!

what a fun fic! an interesting take on the accidental bonding trope, a mystery, some hot smut, and harry and draco sniping at each other--all good things. plus a most satisfying ending!

The last scene was PERFECT. It had me awwing and melting all over ^^;

I love that Draco loves his cat, and remained gentle despite feeling frustrated and angry when all his potion attempts went wrong. He had my heart from that moment on ♥

His promiscuity had me cracking up like crazeh. I mean, Bulstrode???? Omigah, hilarious (maybe not all the deaths indirectly related to him, but).

This was a wonderful story. I love the melancholy that seeps through the snark and slapstick. The emotions felt canon, realistic, and vaguely kind at the same time. Your Draco was great! The aging manslut drinking away his disappointment. You made me feel sympathy for him.

This was a fun read. The Muggle Medical side of me kept wondering whey they didn't just cut them apart since it was only skin, but that's probably too barbaric for wizards and you wouldn't have had your fun story.

I loved the concept of this fic, the reverse splich was genius and a great way to use this prompt. I did find it a little hard to picture how they were able to get around and do things at all being attached at the hip (stuff like sitting in a chair seems impossible...) and I morbidly wondered why the doctors couldn't slice them apart and heal the skin.

Oh, what a treat this was!
A cracktastic yet v convincing (and well thought-out) premise, with an abundance of original, enticing magical details, and to boot, an emotional, romantic ending that made me *melt*

Other random details that made me squirm with pleasure:

- Snape's portrait, hanging in the Pestle Room of the House of the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers.

- The decor of the Bachelor Flat Stuck in Time.

- The Pinot Œvil (I had to copy+paste that!) with the lovely Dementorx3 label. *wants*

By a v accomplished writer, I suspect, who enjoys walking a fine line between the ridiculous (the opposite-of-splinching accident!) and the sublime (fantastically paced build-up of Harry's emotions), the squicky (eek, I kept on visualising a band of flesh joining the two like a thick rubber band) and the awesome (Draco's potion-ery skills, the accidental revelation of the antidote, and so much more.)

what an incredible, original idea! the reverse splinch was hilarious and bizarre and wondrous. their reactions, too. especially at first... fab!

but the whole fic had so many wonderful, funny details: the fluffy cat, the cat's fluffy name, snape's canon-dead-on portrait, "Carn Alley," and omg, that bizarre, ridiculous 60s flat!

H/D stories with canon characterizations that make me laugh out loud at random places are so rare, especially during this hd_worldcup fest where most of Team Canon's works give me intense melancholy, so I give you a jar of cookies and some more for being successful at this feat. I really don't know which part I liked best because I liked them all but definitely Gallagher's 1960s bachelor pad and Snape's portrait cracked me up more than others. This whole thing was clever from the beginning to the end, though.

BTW, Pinot Œvil should be canon. ... now, if only I can pronounce it correctly...

That was very interesting and intriguing, to say the least. I would not mind trying a bit of that wine that Harry and Draco so enjoyed.

I thought that there was a lot of things in this story that one could like and very much enjoy. There was the whole premise of literally being stuck together. You do not see that often. And I thought that it was entirely sweet how Harry missed Draco, how there was a part of him missing after his separation from Draco. And I must tell you that the end was completely sweet and much loved.

This fic is made of WIN! It's so hard to read something that genuinely makes you smile and laugh, but the oddball humour in the premise, the dialogue, the settings (Is Gallagher really Gene Hunt? *g*) and the props (I'm sure there's a lot of us who have a close personal acquaintance with Pinot Œvil!) are wonderfully realised. But what I love is that this fic is more then humour. The fun is a balanced by a nicely drawn Harry and Draco and their reactions to all that's a happening between and around them, which seems really grounded and not as flippant as perhaps a 'crack' fic would have them be. Everything really hit the mark, I loved reading it <3

What an original idea! But what I liked most was the style of writing – fast-paced, witty and full of grown-up British slang. It’s a fun roller-coaster of a ride and you get pulled along, into psychedelic bachelor pads, stuffy exclusive clubs, drunken binges and manic potion making.
I really enjoyed this!

Sir Reginald von Fluffybottom and Pinot Œvil. Pure genius. :-D

I think my favorite part, though (aside from the sex, which was hot, was the scene at 3 AM when Draco is upset and drags Harry long for a walk to the packie to get his booze. It had a very English feel to it, and felt so much like them.

This was so much fun to read.

From the reverse-splinching and Draco wanting to make Ron pay to the way they tried to hide their 'condition' from family to Snape's portrait and the ridiculous name of the society and the cat and ... that nightmare of a bachelor pad with its polyester sheets. *shudders*

Then the more tender moments as Draco realized that people close to him were the ones being hurt, his own admission that, despite having affairs he loves his wife and child, Harry missing him once they were separated, and the ending? *melts* So sweet.

Nice job.

This was hilarious! I love the cheeky riff on the concept of the boys being bound together, and their snark was great. The sex scene was intense - we never get away from the fact that it's a one-time thing.

Coming here only after the reveals, I just knew there was something, uh, different to expect from you ;)

I enjoyed this one very much. Very creative way to ensure some serious bantering between our boys :) And Draco's comment at the end made me melt.

Just: Lucius.. I know even he has got to get older. But I simply refuse to accept the fact. His voice was as frail as his body; the sound was like parchment rubbing against sand. *sighs* I appreciate you writing him like that, though - a different take at a character that gets glorified everywhere else.
