Clearer shot of Harry promo.

I'd hate to tell the fandom 'I told you so', but whatever. jra923 was kind enough to find a clearer shot of the new Harry promo shot for HBP that's been used to promote the knitting merchandise sold by Opal, the original source of the photo being Wolle-Grotz.

In fact, if you look at the yarn wraps, you can see tiny promos of Draco, Ron, Harry, Hedwig, and even Dumbledore, so that's a lot of promos right there (pity we don't have them in hi-res).

ETA: Just in case you guys want to be snappy with me and tell me how to run my own community, I'm going to make an example of this person. No one is EVER allowed to tell me how to run this place (except maybe David Heyman, but he's got reason); and please trust that I'm using a bit of common sense when I post new things here.

	DanRad must make a shit ton of money from the merchandising. Doesn't he get a cut of whatever his face is on? There is so much stuff out there. Also, yay that you were right! 	Yes, they certainly get money for merchandising. In the long wrong most young stars in bands or films such as this make more money from merchandising then they are paid for making a CD and/or being in a film. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	What they meant is this isn't an official poster. Which it isn't - it's an advertisement for wool/yarn. It's like before with the HBP advert in Nickelodeon magazine - that was said to be a 'fake poster' when in fact it was legit as a piece of marketing. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	The photoshopping on this is absolutely bizarre - look at the shadows on his face from the arms of his glasses, they've made it look as thought the light is hitting him from both sides of him, so they've got the shadows going both ways. Weird. Not to mention, it does look as though they've shrunk his mouth and enlarged his chin. And...yarn? Really? scratches head (Reply to this)

I was lucky enough to have met Dan at the LA OotP premiere and, actually, he HAS a good strong chin. :) I really like this new, more-mature Harry and frankly can't see what people are complaining about.

It'll be interesting to hear the retractions (if any) when the truth finally comes out about these images. I mean, REALLY, if WB doesn't want speculating and such, let's have some more "official" images then, 'kay?

The photoshoping is a bit dodgy though, poor Harry looks like a statue at Madame Tussaud's lol!

I'm dying to see the other promos, especially the Ron one on the right he he he!
By the way, can you make out what the picture in the first yarn wrap is? It looks like two people, one of them wearing a Hogwarts uniform... Could the other one be Moaning Myrtle?
