You may (or may not) have noticed our lack of updates this week. We have a good reason - it is Midterms Week, that unholy time of the semester during which I try to catch up to all the studying I should have been doing for the past seven weeks and ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) speccygeekgrrl laughs at me.
For this Outtake, we decided to boot up my lovely copy of The Sims 2 and bring you:

| Outtake Three: Remus Lupin |

For a series of reasons (laziness, writers' block, domestic squabbling, and my own descent into madness) this entry is late. It's also an outtake. This time, we're showcasing Remus Lupin. This entire thing is very, very amusing. So read and enjoy and we'll be back on Friday with (I guarantee) a very satisfying update. (This is slightly image-heavy: 14 images.)

| Outtake Two: Doodles |

This is an outtake; we're going to have a real update sometime late late late tonight or tomorrow - Tuesday is one of our update days, but we realized that we forgot to tell you that we'd changed it from Monday, to Tuesday. And we didn't want anyone getting upset about a lack of update... so we decided to do an Outtake. But, from now on, you can expect updates on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Also, and this is an incredible honour, let me tell you, _emomuffin and playfullips have created a community for fans of ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) hateloveletters. Wow, we're so psyched about this. Anyway, you can find it at hatelove_love.
Now, some outtakes. The first drawing is by speccygeekgrrl. She's the better artist. I don't normally draw, but the other day (it was Saturday, actually), I ended up doodling on post-it-notes, so I thought I'd include these here. Again, I AM A HORRIBLE ARTIST. xD

| Outtake One: Severus Snape |

Creator's Notes: We're sorry for the delay in posting. Last week was our first week of term, we had a horrid roommate to contend with, we had to deal with scheduling issues and buying books and moving in... We fully intended to have a post yesterday, but the horrid roommate moved out, so we helped her with that. We rearranged our room, and were setting up our computers to finish the post when layered got a nasty electric shock and had to go to hospital. When we finally arrived back at our room at 1:45 AM, we said basically "dammit" and went to bed.
Hate/Love Letters will resume usual posting schedule on Friday, September 3. Today we have some outtakes, notes written outside of the canon of our storyline, messing around with the pens and testing the handwriting of our characters. The first character to be highlighted: Severus Snape. We hope you enjoy these outtakes, and please forgive our delays in posting!
