Hi everyone! I bought the birthday card for Hatano this week. I tend to buy Peanuts cards because Snoopy is adorable. .^^; (And a character known all around the world.)

Isn't it cute?? On the inside (third photo), there's actually a spring under Snoopy so he moves around when you open it. I thought it was adorable. =.3

Hi everyone! I was pretty late with the Christmas project so pretty much only me and one other person participated so I'm determined get a head start for Waccha's birthday.

His birthday present will be Lupin III Final Haul movie pack. (I gave him the first set last year for his birthday.) Money for the project, fan letters, and SMALL presents will be accepted. The cost of the project is about $31 ($18 for DVDs, $13 for postage).

Deadline is MARCH 3. I must receive everything by that date.

Hello, I'm new here and have been lurking shamelessly for a couple of weeks since joining. Since October, I've been having a new mania, and that's Hatano Wataru! Imagine that the first time I heard his voice was in a bl drama, Pretty Babies, in which he was (a wanko) seme to none other than the BL Teiou himself, Morimori. :D After looking at more and more pics of him, I instantly acknowledged his cuteness and I've been hungry for bl dramas with him in them ever since.

gokumew2 was another contribution to my Waccha mania by showing us a dvd of him getting groped by Taniyama Kishou while I was at Yaoi con. Nice to meet you there, Goku! :D

I've also spent my huge amount of time surfing youtube and the internets for more Waccha love, and I found this video of him and another actor, whose name I don't know. I was told that he was showing this actor on how voicing for a (bl?) drama works, or something like that. Either way, I was delighted and screamed like the fangirls from Ouran.

Well, I told my story of how I first heard him, how did the rest of you first heard of him???

Hey guys!  I attended the KoiGiG Flying March event today.  It was half talk show and half live.  Hatano was so cute today and gave an awesome singing performance.  You can find details out here.

Phew! Received saorren and analogmaniac's letters/presents in the mail today! Just waiting on letters from arisa_saki, kyraensui, and my school friend now.

Hirakawa said in the freetalk for that short 2008 Lynx drama that he never sees Waccha wear the same thing twice, but Waccha replied that he's been told he wears the same thing a lot. I kinda have to agree with Waccha. X.D

Going to SF today to pick up chocolates for Waccha's present. I've received Basilisk DVD vol. 1 and ended up buying vol. 5 for him too since it was really cheap. Already bought the birthday card too. Just waiting now to go gets the chocos and for people's packages to arrive. I'll take a pic of everything as a lil commemoration when everything is assembled. .^^

So here's what we're thinking of getting Waccha for his birthday: Basilisk vol. 1 R1 DVD, Koshirou keychain, and chocolates (for late Valentine's). X.D kyraensui and I are planning on having a lil field trip to San Francisco's Ghirardelli Square in late February to pick out some chocolates.

Here are the current costs:
- Basilisk DVD $8.99
- Koshirou keychain $4.50
- shipping for DVD & keychain $4
- birthday card $3

So ~$20.50 so far. The chocos can vary... Ghirardelli is kinda higher end chocolate so I'm guessing around $15. (And fyi, Waccha likes sweet chocolates. .^^) Then there's shipping to Japan.... Hopefully everything will fit into a Priority Mail flat-rate envelope like last time so it'd only be $11. If not, we can send up to 1lbs for $21 (ouch) Priority Mail, or $10.10 for first class mail (would rather not go this route). To be on the safe side, I would estimate this project's cost at $50. Please help with donations to the project? All the people who donate money to the project will have their names written in a birthday card, so Waccha will know specifically who you are (and where you come from)! .^^

Again, feel free to send letters to me, which I will put into our package and forward to Waccha. I'll just put the letters in as is without opening them. If you want to write a note to me, you'll have to put Waccha's letter in an extra envelope. I will NOT be reading any of the letters so I'm going to ask anyone who wants to do this to use common sense and not talk about downloading or other illegal activities. Feel free to write in whatever language you feel comfortable. (Non-Japanese letters just shows that Waccha has a worldwide fanbase. .^^) You can also send small (and I do emphasize *small*) presents if you'd like.

DEADLINE FOR LETTERS and presents is FEBRUARY 29. (The earlier the better.) The package will be sent probably the first week of March. As I'm sure you know, Waccha's birthday is March 13.

And I was thinking of something new for the project this time around. I think this was done for another seiyuu too but, anyone wanna send voice or video messages?? You can record either a voice or video message and I'll burn them onto CD or DVD for Waccha. Is anyone interested in doing this?

Yeah, I know I'm like 3 months early, but better to plan early than late, right?

I was thinking for Waccha's birthday (3/13) present, we could get him Basilisk. He plays Chikuma Koshirou. I wanted to get the DVDs and a Koshirou keychain (not necessarily from there... S&H is .x_x). Tower.com has the entire DVD box set for only $44 (that's over 50% off), but the problem is that it's SIX DVDs. Uhhh.... That could get expensive to ship.... ( But actually... (Koshirou spoiler) )

So! Who's interested in participating in this project? It'll work the same as before... You can pitch in however much you feel like and send letters to me, which I will forward to Waccha. The total cost we need will vary depending on whether we decide to get the entire DVD box set or not though.

Those who'd like to participate, please let me know!! =.3 I think we'll need more people for this project than last time. =.x


EDIT: Oooh~ RightStuf has the individual DVDs for only $8.99 each right now! Don't know how long the sale will last though....

If we bought the first 3 volumes and the keychain from RightStuf, our total would be $37.47 (includes S&H). And then shipping to Japan, if we can fit everything into a flat rate envelope like last time will be $11, so about $50 total for this. Anyone have any thoughts?

EDIT2: Dang it! About what I talked about under the LJ-cut.... It's ep 19 so guhhhhhh~ =.x Vols 1-3 would probably only go up to 12. Doushiyou?? Should we get the entire series? .^^; That is a better value, it's just I don't know how much shipping to Japan would be for something that heavy.

EDIT3: Or maybe we can just get him the first volume of Basilisk, the keychain, and like a set of darts or something. I remember thinking of getting him darts when I randomly saw them on Amazon. He sometimes goes to pay darts with Terashima and gang so maybe they'll come in handy. .^^ Might make a better gift than something redundant like R1 DVDs, which we gave him last time. Actually, I think this sounds better. What do you guys think? .^^

Waccha's Christmas present package was sent today via Priority Mail, which takes 6-10 days. Hopefully it arrives before Christmas! Thank you to all who participated~ =.D I'm thinking of organizing a birthday present project for next year too, but well, we'll get to that later. X.D
