More info on Harry being cast in The Little Dog Laughed.

Please to note the term "rent boy" in the description of his character! O_O

(Also, when Johnny Galecki originated the role off-Broadway, there was a full frontal nudity scene. This is your cue to perv out properly).

Hi guys,

I was just watching the latest episode of Taking the Flak and absolutely killing myself over Harry again. He's really good in this programme. Plus I love the programme anyway. I think I may have to get the DVD.

Anyway, I thought I'd share with you the best Harry quotes from this episode:

"Chillax! Fuh-Fuh-Suh!"
"The Daily Mirror called him the Phwoar! correspondent."
(in the campest voice ever) "You are naughty! Ruh-Oh-Fuh-Luh!"

And also some nummy and hilarious screencaps (I did them very quickly, so I apologise if they're not great):

Hi people, glad to see you've been enjoying Ghosts! I had the hard task (lol) of uploading lots of photos from the production to the Arcola Theatre web gallery the other day and immediately thought you guys would appreciate the link:
http://www.arcolatheatre.com/gallery2/v/Productions/2009/Ghosts/
Big HQ versions of all the photos can be downloaded from there too! ;)

[info]gregoria44 and I went to see Ghosts on Saturday (bringing along her surprisingly-patient-with-our-drooling friend).

It was fantastic. Everything you need - angst, drama, laughs, Sexy!Dirty!Sweaty!Harry... *ahem* I mean... er...

I would definitely recommend seeing this play! The theatre is small and homely and the audience sits practically on top of the actors who are placed on a truly amazing set in the corner of the studio. I struggled with the lady who played the main character, Mrs Alving, as she was a little too much for the small space, but the rest of the cast were superb.

There's a nice review on whatsonstage.com and very nice picture on The London Paper, though not much of a review on that site.

[info]gregoria44 and I were drooling over a particular picture they were displaying in the foyer, with lots of open-collared goodness and wishing that there weren't so many people around so we could nick it. LOL! Let's hope the picture shows up somewhere on Teh Internetz.

I'm sure [info]gregoria44 can give a much more detailed review. I'm full of something icky and my brain is not working very well at the moment. :(

Oh, and he was gorgeous as ever. :DDD

Here's a picture of Harry in Ghosts, looking very dapper in a Victorian sort of way:

It's from the Guardian review of the play. (The review doesn't mention Harry specifically, fwiw).

I don't know if anyone here has heard of this before, and I about fell out of my seat when I saw Harry's name mentioned midway in the article

Clicky!

Apparently, Harry is going to be in the HBO version of George RR Martin's "Game of Thrones"???

ETA: I just found a little blurb on Wikipedia about Harry's character, Viserys in Game of Thrones:

He is a cruel, ambitious man, blunt of speech and given to violent mood swings. He hopes to return to Westeros and reclaim his father's throne. He is often mocked as the Beggar King since he must rely on the generosity of those sympathetic to his cause.

Sounds a bit like what might happen if Baines were mixed in with the Sheriff and Gisborne, lol. ;)

ETA2: I've been reading some of speculation on various fansites for this book/TV series. It appears that Viserys is blond...which means...time to get that box of Clairol out, Harry. ;)

The Arcola Theatre website has a short clip of the director and playwright discussing their adaptation of Ibsen's Ghosts (with spoilers!). Harry Lloyd appears in the clip at 1:52.

The bit with Harry is very brief, but he's looking rather Will Scarlett-like in it. :)

I hope we aren't going to be too disappointed in Taking the Flak, and with how much Harry appears in. I just got the Radio Times and his name doesn't appear among the 9 cast members listed, suggesting a fairly minor role. Their critic doesn't seem too taken with the programme either.

Don't think this has been posted here yet... but here goes!

"Taking The Flak" looks like it's going to be broadcast on the 8th July at 9PM on BBC2.

More details about the airing dates can be found here.

Here's hoping there's a fair amount of Harry in them :)

They've posted some more pics on the O&J site.

Including one in which our guy is doing some sort of goofy dance. At least that's what it looks like to me. Just makes me giggle. :)
