» What is this community for?
If not already obvious, this community is a gathering place for Harry Potter fans who just happen to ship Harry+Draco slash. Here, members can feel free to post their fanfiction and obtain feedback from other fans, post fanart, icons, etc. Or, they can just talk about the fandom we've all come to know and love.

» What is slash?
Slash is stories which features characters of the same gender (mostly male/male but also female/female) romantically and/or sexually involved. In this situation, the two characters involved are Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy from J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series.

» Why Harry and Draco?
You may have heard of the saying 'each to their own', and really the same goes for character pairings. Some people prefer certain characters together. The Harry+Draco ship has many pros to it, and although it may not pertain to the canon, it has become increasingly popular. Harry and Draco have such a strong contrast about them that it could only bring about the whole 'opposites attract' theory. Plus, it would be risky for both of them, which adds a lot of potential to stories about a romance between the two. Overall, they're just a fun pairing to work with, and even more so to read about. It's hard to explain, even for a long-term HD writer/reader like myself.. but those who follow the ship will understand. And those who are new to it will learn in time.

» Are there any restrictions?
As of right now, the only rule in order is that I ask for every fanfic / large graphic to be posted under a lj-cut (for information on how to do a cut tag, refer to this for help) with a rating. Anything containing graphic images should be rated R or higher. One more really important thing is to be good to eachother. Anyone found to be acting rude or inappropriate towards others (a problem which I am very proud to say hasn't risen yet) will be warned, and then banned.
