harry_scorpius! This is the corner of LiveJournal where Harry Potter and Scorpius Malfoy live out We are doing a few unique things in this comm to keep readers/writers/artists happy and organised. The first thing you will notice is that we have an extensive number of tags. The second thing we've added is because this is
We have three rules for readers and commenters:
* No flaming.
* All artwork posted or linked to
harry_scorpius is the property of the artist and may not be used in any way without the artists permission.* This comm has content suitable for adults only. Please ensure you are of age to be viewing the contents within.
Only one for searchers:
* Fic searches are welcome but must be tagged. We have a fic search tag and various other tags to help you and others find the fic you want.
Submission rules. We have a few (okay, more than a few):
* You must be a member to post here.
* Members may post their stories/artwork either directly to the comm or by linking to your own journal or website.
* Feel free to pimp relevant fests here, but nothing else off-topic. If you're in doubt, ask a Mod.
* Threesomes (or more) are welcome, as long as Harry/Scorpius is the main pairing.
* All posts must be properly marked for adult content.
* Due to the nature and content of this comm, all posts, regardless of length, should be behind a lj-cut. Fic searches are exempt from this (but be sensible - if you've got a long search post, please cut it)
Important note on tags and warnings
Please remember to tag all your posts; if the tag you want doesn't exist (we're kinky ladies, but even our knowledge runs short!) then PM a Mod and we'll add it in. Why? Because people love to search comms using tags. If you write a lovely crossdressing fic and don't use the 'kink: crossdressing' tag, people aren't going to be able to find your fic when they have that particular itch to scratch.
We've thought about this a lot, and we would like to see Age Disparity Warnings on every fic. This means that we'd like the ages of Harry/Scorpius (and any other cross-gen pairing) noted in the header. Example, chan(38/13) or not-chan(45/19) helps readers recognize immediately if they will likely be comfortable reading the fic. Note: for consistency the ages listed should be the age in which any naughty touching (or similar) occurs between the characters. Complicated? It's not meant to be. But it is a hot issue with readers. People who don't want to read about Scorpius under 16, want to be able to trust the warnings provided.
Also, please be sensible about warnings. If your fic includes common squicks, please make sure it's in the Header. We are talking Non-con, Incest, Character Death (Harry or Scorpius), and any Extreme Fetish.
This comm needs to be fun, and it's no fun for anyone if people are afraid to read because it is a squick mine-field. And remember one person's squick is another person's kink. Warnings can turn into advertisements pretty quickly around here.
