Community Profile

This community was developed by eliminate (because there aren't enough H/D comms out there :D) for the simple reason that there should be a community where you can post anything related to Harry and Draco: fics, art, icons, essays, questions, whatever. There shouldn't be limits on your love for this fandom. Now, spamming the community with a post that says 'i <3 h/d!!!111! omgliekwoah' 1000 times is pointless. (And, yeah, you'll probably get bitched at by one of the mods.) But if you have a question about where to find your fave H/D fic, then ask it. Don't be afraid of the mods here; in fact, if you need anything, you can email anytime you want. We're open all the time.

1. This community will not tolerate flaming (negative and hurtful comments towards a member/artwork/fiction).
2. Commenting makes people feel all warm and fuzzy inside, so make someone's day and comment!
3. If you want to 'pimp' your community, go ahead -- just have it be 1) related to H/D, and 2) allow me the same right if I ever want it.
4. Post all fics and art or whatever behind a lj-cut tag.

6. Please lock all NC-17 posts you make. This is in regards to LJ rules and regulations.
7. While betas aren't necessary, please make sure your fic has decent grammar and whatnot. A spellcheck catches that, and a quick read through makes it presentable. Betas are preferred, if possible, though. Go to hp_betas if you need to find one.
8. If you have any questions about past contests or future ideas, please check the memories before asking one of the mods.
9. Please do not post requests for beta readers, updates about your personal life, lengthy discussion about non H/D pairings, or other such off topic entries. Thank you.
10. Please do not post multi-chaptered fic more than once in the span of a day. If you have more than one part, put it all in the same post. You'll be warned and the posts deleted.
11. Please do not post manips/artwork/etc. of EITHER Harry or Draco. This is a Harry/Draco community and both characters need to be featured, or innuendo provided. This doesn't mean it can be vague either, but clearly Harry/Draco.
12. When posting manips of a R or higher nature, please lock the post.
13. Please do NOT post fic searches. There are other communities designed specifically for that purpose. If you are having trouble locating a fic, please email the mods with your request and at the end of the week we'll make one post with all the searches. Thanks!

At harry_draco we hold contests that run varyingly for fic and art. In the past we had icon contests, but due to lack of participation, we stopped. If, in the future, there is more interest, we shall start again. All members are able to participate so-long as they folow the rules. Prizes vary from each contest, from LJ gift certificates for paid time to prize banners. All entries are organized in the archives!
