Welcome to harrison_stills, a stillness icontest for anything and everything Harrison related (George, Dhani, Olivia, Pattie). The stillness movement is for people who would prefer to see a good still icon win opposed to a boring animated one. This movement was started by

quebelly, many thanks to her, with the original

buffy_stillness.

Rules
1. Your submissions cannot be animated!
2. Your submissions must remain anonymous. This means you cannot use your icon or post it anywhere till the voting period is over.
3. Do not vote for yourself, and do not ask friends to vote for you.
4. Make a new icon for each contest, do not use ones you've already made.
5. Make sure your submission fits LJ's size standards. (100x100 and no greater than 40KB)
6. Please don't take any of the contest icons without the creator's permission.

Submitting
1. At the beginning of each contest I will make a post where you can reply with your submission. Submissions will be screened.
2. You will need a host that allows remote linking. Such as photobucket or Greatest Journal, if your icon cannot be seen then it will not be eligable for the contest.
3. When responding with your submission, please include the img src and url versions like this:

4. You must be a member to participate.

Deadline: Thursday 8:00 EST
Voting: Friday - Saturday
New Challenge, Winners Announced: Sunday

Voting
1. Voting will be done by comments. Comments will be screened.
2. They need be in no particular order. Ex:

3. Anyone can vote.
4. Voting will range from one to three icons each week.
5. Do not vote more than once.
6. Anonymous votes will not be counted.

Contests will vary each week. Sometimes you may be given specific images, in which outside images are not allowed, sometimes you may be given a quote or lyric to work with. There is a possibility that should I not be able to come up with a new challenge, a winner of the previous challenge will get to choose. Specifics will be posted with each challenge.

Banners will be made for the winners of each challenge every week. In addition, there will also be a banner for the Mod's Choice. If you do not wish to be given one when/if you win, please tell me so in the first post of this community. If you'd like to become an affliate or sister site also post there.
