are people thinking?  American Apparel is just one giant parody of American society.  Seriously, t-shirts, wife beaters and sweaters as fashionable?  Honestly, I can walk down th street to the trailor park, and find this exact attire, and probably for a cheaper price.  Honestly, for some of those 40 dollar dresses, I can go to WAL MART and buy a fucking 3 yards of jersey fabric, some ribbon and make a dress JUST like that for under 20 dollars!  Really it's less of the fashion, looking cool, or whatever, it;s more of a how fucking EASY and probably effortless this clothing line is.  WHY pay so much for something you can get at Wal Mart?  WHAT is happening to clothes?!  It use to be all about self expression, and honestly I see no self expression in these clothes.  But really, it's all just mockery towards america.  All of it.  They sell non perscription lenses for christ sakes...I actually HAVE to wear contacts/glasses, thank you very much.  I CANT SEE.  Perhpas you need those glasses though, maybe you need to see HOW MUCH OF A FUCKING JOKE YOU ARE. on alli's aunts wall yesterday was this black and white painting. it was old so it had a brownish tint. it was a herd of cattle with a dark figure guiding them down a path. in the distance was this thick dark woods, it look like it could have held some fascinating secret. i couldn't stop staring at it, something about the figure and the stray calf on the right side of the herd. i could almost imagine walking towards the woods if i closed my eyes. it was erie. i almost offered her money for it. i'm not sure what it was but it was almost as though there was someone in the woods screaming but all you could hear were faint whimpers.

I wish I could link the lyrics only but they aren't on the net *shrugs*. And even if it's post S4 finale it shouldn't be too angsty, or so I hope. Also, first shot at the pairing and at Claire altogether so uhm, go easy on me?

All right, I’ll babble about The Clone Wars a bit. Don’t read this if you don’t want to know ANYthing – I’ll put my general thoughts above the cut so you don’t have to click on it to see that :)

I did enjoy the movie, it was fast-paced and entertaining, and it resembled Star Wars enough to make me excited. Bad dialogue and all! It certainly isn’t going to appeal to everyone. The casual fan probably wouldn’t like it, and I’m sure certain diehard fans wouldn’t either (I won’t even get into the whole PT vs. OT thing… it’s ALL STAR WARS, people! It’s okay to love all of it!) I liked it...I’m still not sold on Ahsoka, though. (Sorry, jedi_em!) I’m biased, though, due to my roleplaying an original character as Anakin’s padawan, and she’s quite different from Ahsoka!

Yours truly is back, refreshed and very happy of her vacation, and will stay here for a couple of days before the dreaded trip of the year aka one week at my grandmother's in a small town which I sort of hate, but where I will have Internet thanks to an internet point being there. First of all, I've seen half of the birthday wishes on the 13th but could reply only to one post before the 56k from my mother's laptop died, so I'll say a general thanks so much here to everyone and now I'll attempt on answering everything/catching up/answering comments, which I guess will be hard work but I have the whole evening on front of me ;) also, I stole said laptop for that paper I had to do but used it to catch up with luau fic when I could, so I'll have fic up when I'm done with the catching up business. Probably a post with pictures and stuff will follow tomorrow or the day after, but for now I guess it'll be all. And definitely feels good to be back ;)
