AboutLet's quit stereotyping - not every emo kid needs to "cheer up"! We've all seen the patches, the buttons, the whiney boys and girls together at recess (ok, we're over this elementary school thing but hey) And, Who says just because you can relate to your own feelings through post-punk music instead of political rock 'n roll that you have to be upset and heartbroken 24/7!?
Here at Happy Emo Kids™, we tell it like it is.. Yes, there is life after your "ex", after you realize you have a zit on your forehead and your crush just saw it, and after your parents yell at you for coming home too late..
Feel this way too? You're at the right place! This community is a place where all of you happy emo kids can post about everything from music, relationships, mix-tapes, shows/concerts, artwork, etc.. (even break-up stories, however unhappy those tend to be - we will make you feel better!)

However, Let's try to keep the crude language to a minimum because, let's face it, that's not exactly happy or positive.. Shameless self-promotion of your band or your friends' band is pretty obnoxious, too, seeing as not everyone is on the prowl for new music.. and the quizzes, unless they are "emo" in nature, and the pleads for codes limitied, too.. Those things don't really make me happy and probably don't make you too happy either, besides, who wants to read those?
