With this post, the last of hanashi's old projects is posted at this LJ group - from now on, everything that is (hopefully) uploaded here is new stuff.
Things became quiet about hanashi these days - real live has worn me out and I only continued to translate again recently. While the updates might be slower, I'll really try to at least finish all the projects we started to scanlate. (It would help if there was someone to give me a kick up the backside every once in a while.)

The story is about Yuus classmate Souji, who - well, let's say nearly - doesn't speak at all.

As many of you might have noticed, the index page of hanashi-translations.com is offline at the moment. This was and still is necessary due to some technical problems. You still have access via the German page to all the files.
I need to make some technical updates at my server and hanashi will be completely offline during that time. (Of course, you'll still be able to get our files here at our livejournal group.) However, after the change I won't upload all the raw files again, as they are very rarely downloaded anymore and some of them have already been translated by other scanlation groups. In short: If you're interested in hanashi's raw scans you should better get them now. :)

I simply love Kanno Yuki; her manga are funny and still very artfully drawn. The story is about the young man Takaaki (speak: Taka'aki) who waters a certain flower pot by chance. A small man who slept a thousand years inside the sprout comes out and needs to adapt to the new world - and to win Takaakis heart, of course.

Holydays are over here in Peking, which means that I'm back at my dorm and able to work on our projects again - please excuse the long absence.

This is another older project of hanashi. I'm well aware that there are quite awkward passages in the English version. We had an editor change and our partner in this joint project vanished in the middle of it. For this not to happen again in the future, we're glad to have found a new proof reader, Ling Le.

This unusual manga unfortunately comes with very bad scanlation conditions: light printing, dark paper, strange spoken Japanese. Nevertheless, I think it's still worth the read, since it's unique in characterization and storyline.

This was one of Tsuyu's first projects, although you wouldn't know it since it basically sat in several folders on my old laptop, partially scanned and translated (poorly) until I'd finally gained more insight to the language besides "un" and "aa". However, it turns out that I way overshot what I needed in order to translate this particular story...

An oldie but a goodie! I've always thought this was one of the cutest one-shots ever. Who wouldn't want a chibi!Tomo to ride around on your shoulder or put on your desk at work so he can hold your pens or something? I use a lot of pens, though, so I'd probably need a couple of chibi!Tomos, which would no doubt hinder my efficiency because they're just so damn cute!

We appreciate any feedback you have to offer, either on the project, or other uses for chibi dopplegangers. :D
